Hey, what happened to the nurse/weaver. Had to take a phone call. Please?

  • #742
I can't believe SHE just summoned CM with her forefinger! What a piece of work she is!

  • #743
YES! I know, I've been wondering the same thing, ever since JA changed from calling Caylee a victim to calling Caylee an alleged victim, which he had to do because AF complained.

:maddening::maddening::maddening:

The NERVE of the DT to complain about Caylee being a "victim" !

This really upsets me ... Caylee is THE VICTIM ! She is the "deceased victim" ...

She didn't just wrap herself in "duct tape" and "trash bags" and hop down 15 houses to the woods !

I think the SA needs to call Caylee THE VICTIM at the TRIAL ... or it will confuse the you know what out of the jury !

MOO MOO MOO

Even IF it was an accident, Caylee would still be the 'victim' of an accident. Not an 'alleged victim' of drowning or accidental poisoning.

Come hither Mr Mason the defendant motioned with her batting eyes and bent finger.

What is it with all these hand gestures?

  • #748
They will not appear on camera until after the trial and that is if they agree personally to appear on camera.............at least that is my understanding. Welcome to justice USA style.............its been a learning experience for us all!

Ok thanks.

It is fascinating to watch. I was reading up on the process of jury selection in the UK and from what I understand they only ask the PJ "Can you give a fair hearing to both the Crown and the defence?" Very different to this I think. I like the American way but I do have a few issues with it. But, no process is perfect I'm sure.

now what did DS just show AF on her phone that caused AF to look down at the PJ list?

  • #750
Ugh, KC with the crooked-finger "come here" and smile to CM

But then AF barged right in front him! ICA wasn't amused...:floorlaugh:

3093 is not done yet correct? tia

  • #752
Is it just me or are there a zillion NURSES in the jury pool?

  • #753
Please forgive me for asking this of everyone.

Could someone please fill me in on what has happened since Judge Perry did the en masse hardship interviews?

I have a very sick grandbaby here who I needed to tend to and it caused me to miss the court happenings.

Thank you very much for your kindness.

I wish the jury would be able to see such antics. Sadly, they are unlikely to as they are out of the room on breaks and will see her only during testimony and argument. I'd love for them to see how she struts in and out and banters with her counsel, flirts, etc., all while she is on trial for murder and facing the death penalty. Crazy!

LG - She is still there. They just took a break before general voir dire.

Okay, let me understand this. We have 8 more potential jurors from the quick questions to the new jury pool that was brought in today? We have this woman and two more people that are from last week. And aren't 3 more from last week waiting at home?

So if everything goes okay... that gives us 14 more to go through. We have 14 now. That is 28 potential jurors. I am hopeful again. I think?

Anyone got a quick rundown what is going on. I have missed it all.

Me too! Just back from dentist...do we still have the 14? or what? Have DT and State used their last peremptories? State had 3 and DT had 1 last I was here.

  • #759
3093 is not done yet, she should be back after break

3093 is still on - they broke fright after DP voir dire for the other juror matters (hardship update) and they will be back with her for general voir dire.
