Who will speak for Caylee in court?

IMO - Jesse Grund and his family should be allowed to make a victim impact statement.

I truly believe that man loved that little girl and was devastated.

One of those women on death row is from Jax. She and 2-other guys kidnapped the victims tried to get their bank acct info (not sure if they gave it to them) and they buried them alive. So sad. It was an older couple.

NG's statistics were wrong. We (Florida) just put another female on Death Row.
And by the way, anyone who thinks these prosecutors would cut a deal for 10 years aren't from Florida. The population, would be up in arms if a deal for 10 years was given. A deal for LWOP maybe but not 10 years.

How could GA and CA know who the father was if ICA never told them? Baden said LE knows,....through DNA testing.....as in now.........after Caylee's death.

I don't believe KC knows who the father was/is. And that is really heartbreaking that he didn't have a chance.

I would strongly suspect by now that the "potential" father knows that he was possibly Caylee's father and as far as we know, he had hasn't stepped forward...

to my knowledge, the tests were done on Caylee's DNA.

I'm not sure the father would know if she was as permiscuous as she seemed to be. JMO

I have just always felt that she in fact had a ONS and has no idea who the daddy is. DUH! 7 mo preggo and nobody said anything? :waitasec: To satisfy mommy and daddy she made up crap.

Mommy and daddy were always satisfied with made up crap, so long as they never had to face the truth!

Also, of everything I've read about tonight's show, the one thing that really strikes a cord for me is that no one is representing Caylee. I know that the State is representing her for the court proceedings (and I am very grateful for that) but who will speak about her when all is said and done? Who will voice how much she meant, who she was, why it's so sad and horrible that she isn't here, how terrible his/her life has been as a result of someone else killing her? I realize that the A's (Grandparents) will have a right to speak for her, but after all they have said and done over the past three years, THAT would trully be a travesty of justice imo.

Softail, for some reason, I'm getting the feeling that you think LE knows who Caylee's father is because ICA told them? That's not what I meant. The comment from Dr. Baden indicates to me that they know who the father is because of the DNA testing they have done on Caylee. So, it's not something that came from ICA. It was done through a laboratory, I believe the FBI, but I could be wrong.

I do believe that her parents were satisfied with all of her made up crap as long as they didn't have to deal with reality and I think that this will be part of the DA's case once it gets to the penalty phase. This family IS the DEFINITION of dysfunction and I wouldn't be surprised if we haven't heard the half of it yet!

Regardless, killing your daughter, double-wrapping her in laundry and garbage bags after you've duct-taped her mouth shut and slapped a silly heart-shaped sticker on her - will not get mercy, consideration of age, or of backround, abuse etc...IMO.

This was a horrific crime acted out on an innocent child who had no means to defend herself.

Hang in there Pink Panther. Monday should bring all good things beginning with the Prosecution team to speak for Caylee. I pray that it WILL be Monday.

NG may get facts wrong and be ultra dramatic (and have old bombshells) but, bless her heart, she is the only media person willing to lay the in-fighting between Casey and Jose right out there in public ~ and call it unprofessional. Most others seem to want to side step this issue with the most minimal comment they feel they can get away with. :cow:

I just wanted to point out that Nancy Grace is an attorney. She is not a media person or journalist. She's the host of a show on crime, a talking head. Not a member of the media.
