Wow, KC has such an "I hate you" look on her face for HHJP. Watches him intently while he speaks. That expression is beyond cold.

"What I Did On My Summer Vacation" I wonder if this guy could get credit hours for his experience?

I would think if he is on the jury, he would share the experience with his students.

The psychology behind this is very sound. Keep the victim as impersonal as possible. The DT does not want the juror to think the victim is an actual person let alone a toddler.

and this is where they will fail - supposedly ICA is an innocent, adoring mother who lost a child and was so devastated that she's been a sociopath ever since. the DT should be humanizing and honouring caylee all the way through, because this adoring innocent mother should have NO problem with that, right?

Maybe the court ordered JB to use that kind since they can't trust him not to click away on a good pen :floorlaugh:

LDB probably put the kibosh on him and his clicky antics -"keep clicking that pen and I'll stick it where the sun don't sh...."

While I think this man sounds fair and balanced, I am afraid it is the State that will not want him. A defense attorney as a friend could create a bias toward the defense, in the States checks and balances. IDK. I hope not, so far he sounds great.

JB isnt gonna want him. He knows more about the law than jb.moo

KC doesn't want teachers judging her . . . they hold people to their word, their deadlines, and their responsibilities.

Then surely she would have a problem with her attorney as well, eh? :)

I would venture to guess this man is a conservative, he watches Foxnews. This could be a good thing for the State. He could also help explain the instructions in deliberation room to others that might be confused with the law lingo.

I thought conservative as well with the FOX news statement - but he was a labor relations rep for the postal service (I don't know which side he was on) - so that's a very interesting "balance". And as a teacher, I strongly suspect that he is a member of a union

Waves to DH and thanks him for my wake up call at 8:17 and thanks him for the cup of coffee siting on my pc desk. :)

ICA's respiratory rate is increased to 20 breaths per min. (average/normal is around 12)

Darn straight we do! This past semester I had so many lazy people in my classes...I bet Casey would be one of those that always had an excuse then would blame the teacher for her bad grade. She better so thankful that the jury isn't made up of teachers! Instant DP!

This guy sounds like a good juror. Pity that he will be very far down the alternate list and probably won't be part of the judgment
I'm going out on a limb here cause I think before this trial is over they will go through at least 3 alternates maybe 4.

I like this guy. I think he'd follow the law and rules to a T. Plus, it's nice to have someone who's career wouldn't be interrupted by this process!

No questions from the State.

the live.cnn link is FINALLY up and working. Must be that they received my rather irate comment asking why it was not on. LOL

I think this guy would be good actually. He may even be able to help the female juror that the state (and I) don't want on the panel for fear of a hung jury.
