HHJP: also as you know there is a standard rule that covers the attorneys from facial expressions. The constitution provides that victims of crimes be present, the sequestering is to keep out...the Anthonys have been reported many times giving public statements. The defense has not met their burden to show what prejuice they would suffer if the Anthonys were excluded from the rule. If the rule is invoked they will not be excluded if they violate other rules they will be excluded.
HHJP: they would not be excluded from being in the gallery during the trial.
JB: a discovery issue.

JB: prior to the frye hearings I turned over to JA stuff from Dr. Vass. I made a statement in open court that we would not be using that and I returned them to him. In light of Dr. Vass testifying we (need it back) Mr. A had a objection to that. I am looking for guidance from the court, what does the court need from me if we need the info contained, I would like to comply with that.
JA: it was a CD containing doc it was a professional curtesy, he is supposed to file, that is the proper course, find which of those he wants, raise that issue when the time comes.
HHJP: did you give him copies of five thousand doc?
JB: yes, we can't know what Dr. Vass will say. His work, articles he has written...nothing that..
HHJP: as long as they turn the docs over, they don't have to tell you what parts they are going to use.
JA: had they given it to me back then...articles by dr. Vass when they come up, I didn't want mr. Baez to think this wasn't an issue. Oak Ridge...

JA: I wouldn't impeach dr vass statements...
JA: someone received a sopena, they called to be put on stand by, (office) that wasn't possible, people who have to have sopenas...
The attorneys are not using their mics.

MG: show up and call, mr baez which is showing up at nine...other wise we are going to be here because that is what the sopena says...it says "show up at nine oclock"
HHJP: anything on the sopena that has a number to call. Did you ask who said to not worry about it. Folks I have more important things to do besides that, if they don't want to call and they don't ask who they were talking to so they have a name, I talked to "" in Mr. Baez office...if they don't show up you all are lawyers you have to hold them in contempt. If they call the number and that person said that how can I hold them in willful contempt?
