I think that to weigh the evidence I would have to have the info from the defendant.

HHJP: if you didn't have that info from ICA and she remained silent that would cause you not to judge her fairly.

What happened to the juror who did not come back after lunch yesterday?

He was a lawyer who said he misunderstood directions and thought he had been excused. He came back and was officially excused after HJBP asked both sides if they wanted to talk to a lawyer and declined. The court accepted his explanation.

Something I noticed yesterday (totally irrelevant) -- is that when JB first approaches the podium to question a PJ, he smiles, takes an initial deep intake of breath while making a snorkle sound... (!) It happens each and every time!

Defense may question, JB walks to mike with a 'charming' smile, <SNORKLE>, Hello....
