I think LA said CA choked KC in an argument on the night of the 15th of June. GA supposedly grabbed KC around the neck and pushed her up against the wall when KC was out on bail and wanted her to tell them what happened to Caylee. Not sure but I think this was witnessed by GA friend from Ohio who was there at the time. I don't remember anyone reporting CA choked KC when she was out on bond. jmo

I was making reference to JB saying Casey was cloaked, as in protected. Casey was under Cindy's cloak during the time she was out on bond. No one could question the princess. Not choke.

Just checked Orange County Jail - she doesn't show up there yet . ..

Nah she is still in Pinellas ... it will show 'released' when she leaves (thats what happened when ER left last time lol)

Wasn't it JB who said HHJP "could go where no Judge has gone before" and now the "cloaking device". Wasn't LA a big star wars buff? Seriously wonder if JB is going to use movie lines for his opening statement.

(I will put myself in TO now :D)

Got to say this was the best epi of NG that I remember seeing. For once it wasn't all repeats of the same thing over and over.

NG actually let people speak and the rap sheet of the girl who interrupted court today was shocking. To think I was feeling sorry for that girl, not so much now.

Well I guess FL is agreeing with her. Wonder if she brought the twins and will be going to Disney World??

I respectfully disagree - ICA will never realize that her lies ain't good. She just isn't wired that way. You are right about her liking to talk too much and that's why I think she's been hounding JB - I really think she wants to take the stand because she really thinks she can "smooze" not only LDB, JA and FG but the jury too. She just doesn't see that anyone and everyone with a lick of sense can see right through her. JMHO

Doesn't she wonder why so many of the PJs believed her to be guilty and they said they could not set their opinions aside? Maybe she just blocks that real stuff out.

nope - she just thinks if she could talk to each of them she could change their minds.

I had this thought earlier. All her friends, TL, AH, JG, etc. every last one of them told LE how they knew ICA lied. But not a one of them every tried, as a friend, to talk to her about it and how she was being perceived by the others. So, ICA was never called on any lie she ever told. We know CA wasn't up to the job and let it continue. So, when ICA got to be a "big girl" and make her own friends - she did what she always did and lied - but she never had a close enough friend to try to talk to her about it - KWIM?

Sometimes a parent can talk and talk and talk but a child jsut won't believe them - but let one of that child's friends talk to them earnestly and honestly about the same problem (and say the same things that the parent had been saying) and it can "wake them up". Nobody ever did that for ICA and it just fed her ego. So now she just thinks she can talk anybody out of anything with her fancy lil lies. Only it ain't gonna work - but she is clueless about it all. Does that make any sense?

Just like her mother blocks it out. Apple tree thing.

Sociopaths don't understand friendship. They only understand how to manipulate people to perform the way they need them to perform. Once they get what they need, they move onto the next manipulation. If they need the "friendship" they'll maintain it, if they don't "poof" it's gone. ICA even did this with her parents! No regrets. No explanations. Done and dusted.

She is out on bail isn't she? Her lawyer asked for another "trial" after he has had time to represent her?

Along with MN

:argue:

Yes, and did you notice how she backed right off her previous statements???

It's very very difficult to confront a pathological liar and call them on all their bs - I've had to do it once, and I had to have all my information spot on so I could discount each and every lie as they argued with me - eventually when they had no where left to go they broke down, this was a man by the way. I was in my early 30's and it was one of the hardest things I've ever done - it was exhausting - I can't fault her friends for not having the skills to do this at such a young age.

Right back at cha, strawberry. Are we ready for trial???:great:

All I can say is thank heavens we have three days - I looked around my condo and it looks like I've been burglarized. Then I had a peek in my oven as I put something in, and it's an incredible mess! I can't understand it because I live on my own so how......:waitasec:

I agree. Also, consider the fact that these people were social friends. Most people who are superficial acquaintances don't really want to get pulled into detailed bullchite drama in other people's lives. KC had LOTS of "friends" who hardly knew her at all. Why would they want to sit down and talk to her about her problems with lying?

Body lang expert stating kc is NOT fearful during "verbal attack"

Oh good, because I didn't see her as fearful either - she looked ready to get her game on.

At least the woman said it was because she has a 2 year old and wanted to see (ICA) and know why.

Actually I noticed she couldn't make up her mind about that - first the child was three and then the babe was 2......:innocent:

ITA - I commend you for confronting your friend. But I grew up with a mother that is ICA to a tee!!!! While I confronted her over and over and over and over - it never worked. It didn't help that I was a child (for a time) either. As I became an adult - it got harder and harder to even just be around her. I wasn't faulting any of her friends for not trying. I truly understand why. You were spot on in your description. ICA will never "get it" and IMHO I believe it is too late for her to even try. She is like she is and Katie Bar the Door for anyone that gets in her way - but she'll never see how silly she really looks.

LOL. I forgot that I'd put laundry on yesterday and hadn't transfered to dryer. Soggy mess I tell ya'! Three days to spic and span before the trial starts!
