Whoa whoa whoa. We have like a 20 way fight for the role of Mrs. Melich. We are either going to have to compete, survivor style, or Miss America style. Or plan B: Make a JA, YM, Vass sandwich with a side of some Sargeant Hosey and pass it around to all the ladies! I don't mind sharing!

I'm not sharing Vass. I don't share. I am a greedy, selfish, non-sharing Vass-er. :pillowfight2:
You can have all the rest. :)

I'm probably just out of the loop, but I keep wondering why we don't see Kathy Belich much at all anymore? I know she was tweeting from the courtroom today, but she used to show up on JVM and NG and I haven't seen her in a long time...not that I blame her if she stopped doing those two shows, but I was curious if something happened?

no worries

she is there

and she will obey the laws of Perry to make sure this jury is not messed with

AHEM...I don't share.....thank you for understanding.

I should be careful.....I don't need to be tagged as an internet stalker of my beloved JA.

I'm really a very normal person....I just have a real affection for attractive, dedicated, freakishly smart, legal minds that fight for justice for victims.................... and look so yummy while doing it.

couldn't resist...

snipped...

But, that is the second time I have heard the "men in black" spoken about in this case. Amil had said the first two days there were "men in black suits" standing at the doorway, she said what department, swat? I don't remember that part but she said they were gone after that.

I don't know why there would be "men in black suits" in the hallway speaking about the case? :dunno: And it is funny that they are described as "men in black suits" no one ever says "men in grey suits."

I did watch most of the proceedings, except I was out of town Wednesday and Thursday, I know I caught a couple shots of Kathy Belich, but I miss her reporting on the cable shows.

I have a question and not sure if it should have a separate thread. Are the jurors able to "hang out" while they are sequestered and talk amongst themselves separately...ala Survivor?

Now that the jury has actually been sworn, I have been discussing my feelings and my senior in high school's feelings about the DP and what that means. My kids are in for a really BORING summer...lemme tell ya! :)

The jurors cannot talk about the case amongst themselves until deliberation, iirc.

I don't know if they can hang out or not otherwise, they get to eat dinner and go on trips, so, seems they can.

My summer will be vewwy, vewwy stressful watching this trial. Do your children like arts and crafts? Books? Yard games? Inflatable pools?

Mel, you have just been a trooper through all of this. Thank you so much! And to nursebeeme and Chiquita--if any of you are available, I have a desk and filing cabinet that would benefit from your thoroughness and attention to detail!

Am I the only one who finds it suspicious that the juror ended up talking to a detective who was dressed in black? Did they take her into the hallway with everyone else and if so, why wasn't she prevented from talking to people? Everyone knows that the pj's shouldn't be talking to anyone about the case - especially right there in the courthouse! I'm very curious about this incident and I hope a journalist follows up on it!

Can you elaborate on this? I must have missed it.
TIA

What a roller coaster ride this has been. I almost fear that something will happen to stop this trial from starting on Tuesday. It's been such a long winding trail for this trial to begin. So much heartbreak over one very small, very sweet, very beautiful, very lively little girl named Caylee Marie. She was so enchanting, captured all our hearts, and evoked an abundance of tears from those who never even knew her. We will never know what an impact she might have made had she been allowed to live the full life she deserved. I feel quite breathless right now, as if a milestone has been reached. The rest, the best, is yet to come - there will be justice for Caylee Marie.
