Why isnt KC crying and shaking when TL is saying no abuse took place?

No, it's not. The defense is only required to hand over evidence (or discovery) of what they might use during trial. This includes witnesses as well. The Defense as well as the State is not required to provide the other side with HOW they intend to use the evidence in the trial (as in their theory).

So the State got wind of what they believed to be their theory via the two additional witnesses the DT tried to introduce in regards to the GUILT phase. Adding those two witnesses allowed the State to request a deposition. We later learned that both witnesses were withdrawn from the defense list. One during the MIDDLE of the states deposition of them, and then the other shortly thereafter.

The only reason the DT wanted to get them in as witnesses is that it allows them to sell ICA's story of abuse and testimony without actually getting her on the stand so she doesn't have to be cross examined. Which is not allowed.

We also learned from the Anthonys atty that the State called the Anthonys and provided them with the testimony and gave them a heads up to just what their daughter intended to do to her family.

BBM . . .Thank you so much for putting that together for me . . .I kept wondering about the time line of approx. 6 weeks ago (before trial or jury selection started) the A's learned about the strategy that the DT was going to use. Now it makes all of the sense in the world!

They came back on with it and replayed what I assume to be most of it, but I have not really been watching too closely so I don't know HOW LONG the whole "extra session" lasted.

If I was on the jury, I'd have the opinion that JB is too sneaky to be trusted. Yesterday he brought forth the fact that people rode in Casey's car and didn't smell anything. The SA clarified it was before Caylee was reported missing. Sneaky sneaky.

Not only that... if I was on the jury, I'd keep seeing how the judge is reprimanding JB and think to myself wtf? Must be a newb. Then.... he'd lose me with his questioning the witnesses and irk me with the sidebars and then....

Yeah. I could NEVER have been on the jury. LOL

I really have to wonder if CM asking for a mistrial this early means that even the DT can't swallow this baloney they are spewing.

Perhaps they are looking for a "Do-over".

OK - just to let you all know the level of my obsession.....we had to leave work early due to bad weather. So on my 30 min drive home, my daughter had her phone up to the speakers and I had my phone on speaker LISTENING to the end of the day.

I seriously am going to have to have an intervention after this trial.

No, it's to give the smokers more time for a smoke break. And in all honesty, listening to this they probably deserve more and in the end the non-smokers will probably be smokers too! This is STRESSFUL! Thank god for mute buttons!

I am pretty sure these "special breaks" are cigarette breaks. He now calls them morning breaks and mid-day breaks as far as I can tell today. If he called them what they were, you'd have a bunch of anti-smoking advocates down his throat. It's not like he is allowing the jurors to go light a spliff or anything. :floorlaugh:

Hello everyone! It has been forever since I've posted here! So okay, a question: At this point can Casey fire her defense team? And if she does, would that mean a mistrial? Considering the DT wants a mistrail, could/would they advise her to fire them?

And a thought: I don't believe at all the pool drowning story, and most of all don't believe GA had anything what so-ever to do with it. As for the sexual abuse, who knows? I doubt it but one never really knows about these things. But what I DO know is that I would be more "believing" of the story if they had left GA out of it. If the DT had just admitted that CA had hidden the accident of drowning and took the fall herself, it would make me take pause. But to throw in the crap about GA as well as the metor reader...I mean, give me a break!!! Now more then ever this story makes me hate CA even more and convinces me that she killed this poor baby with her own two hands.
