I agree with you. Don't be afraid to state something that most won't agree with. It's refreshing to hear alternative viewpoints.

I'm thinking, yes, he recognized the smell, but there wasn't any clear evidence of anything. This is one car of many and one customer of many that they had to deal with in a regular day.

Hind-sight is always 20/20, but think of what he knew at the time and the situation of all of it. It's not like he knew, at the time, that all of this was going on. He had a very small window into the drama that this would become. I can bet with certainty that he wishes in retrospect that he'd acted on it and called the authorities, but again, hindsight is always 20/20.

Mr Birch already testified that human decomp smell, which he has experience with, is unmistakable. Baez is really reaching here. If I were a juror, I wouldn't be impressed with this line of questions.
