Anyone notice the unusual amount of deputies that came around this time as GA was getting ready to stand down? :waitasec:

I loooove me some JA. Sunk JB!

Thwarted again! (eta for those who are drinking lol)

George is making me crazy ..I wish he would just say 'my wife was calling and talking to Casey all the time and Casey was LYING about where they were ' I mean that IS what happened . Plus the fact that CA probably said we arent calling the cops yet. It is obvious the family went into panic mode .JB is making it sound like there was NO contact at all ..they need to clarify this ..that they just hadnt SEEN HER

That's right. I thought it said in George's depo when he walked to the back of the car he said - please don't let this be my Caylee - not KC also. That's because he knew Cindy had been texting KC all along.

TL is next witness.

FG: L7 tone mean anything to you?

a aol messenger seven is a lucky number ....tone is a dj...

FG: did you have instant messages with Casey?

yes

FG: what was her name?

caseyomaire

FG: may I approach the witness?

HHJP: you may

Doesn't matter, he's still getting his point across. You can't unring a bell. GA should have never driven that car home.

George needs to just spit out the truth, the WHOLE truth, and nothing but the truth.

Ducking now...

:truce:

IMO

I hear where you are coming from, but and I can only speculate here of the following reasons (not in the order of importance and off the top of my head here! ;-)) :

They were worried about the financial cost of the car in the car lot.

Cindy had had some contact with ICA over that month, so at least they knew ICA was about. Perhaps, he genuinely believed that ICA was angry with the family and spiteful enough to prevent them from seeing Caylee.

If they got the car back home ICA would effectively be without a car so it might force her to return home.

Not all people are suspicious as us!

Perhaps he just tried to put the smell out of his mind, tell himself that it was the rubbish. People try to avoid facing the truth.

IMO it could be a combination of the above factors.

But personally, faced with that situation I would have probably rung LE.

ETA: And of course: Perhaps he thought ICA had been invovled in some way and wanted to see her first or protect her so that's why he didn't ring.

George went out the door of the courtroom; his attorney, Mr. Lippman followed him. Jeff Ashton walked right out behind them; I am certain that Mr. Ashton went to console George.

That was one ugly, disgusting display put on by Baez.

And Casey should be melting into the floor from shame at putting her father through this ordeal.

It makes me sick.

Impressions are DT may have scored points with the jury that round with GA according to a few in the courtroom.
