It's really slimy how JB forms his questions to the witness according to what answer he wants to hear. "And you did not..." If he wants a 'no' answer, for example. A normal person would say "Did you..." as a more neutral wording. Is this a common practice among all lawyers?

Among defense attorneys it is.

If this witness wasn't so collected, intelligent, well spoken, and professional, the jury MIGHT, MIGHT buy the "he's in on it" story...but I think this guy comes off as very credible. I'll be honest, I'd also like to know why he didn't call, especially since George told him his granddaughter and daughter were missing.
