Well that's a difficult question and too o/t to get into here. However, regardless of whether or not she could establish IAOC on appeal, JB should not be lead counsel. Not just due to lack of experience but (IMO) lack of skill.

An example is his lack of understanding of very basic evidence rules. If you refer back to his trying to get into evidene (I think from TL) ICA's statement that she was molested by GA on the basis that it was an "admission" and not subject to hearsay rules. I would check with the US attorney's here BUT I expect that even a mediocre law student in a mock trial would know that this is absurd. What's worse is that he made this statement after conferring with co-counsel (I think CM).

If CM and DS sit back with arms folded while he loses the case due to incompetence ( well and the fact that ICA is guilty) wouldn't they be liable to being sued for malpractise?
I liken it to two experienced Surgeons watching an inexperienced, arrogant Surgeon botching an operation without at some critical point saying "Stand away from the table,I am taking over'.

I am beginning to think that the reason AL and LKB (for example) left the DT was because of disputes with JB. We know that this is why Lenamon left.

Maybe the previous lawyers left because they were informed of the direction the DT was planning on taking with the sexual abuse claims and the supposed drowning. I know that if I were a decent lawyer I would not want to be associated with something I felt would darken my image or cause me to have my professional ethics questioned.

Yuri is awesomeness in a uni and knows the most about Casey and the murder. He's the main detective, he interviewed virtually the entire cast of characters.

Detectives make or break the case imo.
