Deputy Hosey testified Casey told him she wanted to keep her mother from taking the baby (motive) and he reassured her he did not have a court order to go get the baby, he just wanted to make sure the little girl was okay.

CM asks him if he is still employed with the police dpt. He says yes, CM asks if he is a detective now he says no. CM asks why isn't he in uniform and he said he wanted to wear a suit and look nice today.

It's storming. Might affect your feed at home. In TV it's called "rain fade". When signal can't hit satellite thru clouds. #caseyanthony

I did not know that:)

Cheny Mason is so arrogant, I hope he totally turns off the jurors. He is TOTALLY turning me off. Worse than any of the other attorneys there. He is very Demeaning.

Mason: were u advised of t fact that she had been handcuffed?

Hosey: I don't remember her being handcuffed.

Ha! You GO Hosey! Telling him you got PROMOTED was awesome!!!!!

What is the big deal about Uniforms CM???

Part of JB's argument is that ICA was intimidated by all the officers in uniform and didn't know she had a right to cease answering their questions and leave. Therefore, since they lost teh motion they had using that argument to try and keep out all the LE interviews (falsehoods told therein) he is hoping to suggest to the jury how very many uniformed people were present that afternoon/evening in hopes to convey LE picking on poor little ICA, ganging up on her with their scary uniforms and cop cars.

I think the fact that he stayed so calm in the courthouse, even when he was being accused of molesting his daughter will help show that his training as a LE helps him stay calm in bad situations.

Re GA being so quiet and calm when the LE arrived. He is an ex LE in the presence of LE. His previous training and experience would kick in and he would most likely respond to them the same way he would have when they were colleague's. Also it may have kicked him into the same mindset as when he was an LE. Staying calm and quiet and observant.

Also to some extent I think that may be his most common demeanor, usually being the calm one.

CM just got Hosey to state that he directed the drive to Sawgrass...but LDB already elicited fromDep. Acevedo that KC was the one to give directions and tell them when to stop.

ITA and there is plenty of money and attention to be had (book deals, notch on the belt for defending a big case, publicity, etc.)
but I really do wonder if the ones that left did so because they couldn't work with JB and/or they just didn't want to be part of the big lies presented by the DT.

She has no problem with Big Lies!! Yes, she may have had conflict as fellow narcissistic with JB. Plus she got a commentary deal.

I hope this commentary is okay. I just cannot believe ICA had the nerve to take LE to Sawgrass apartments. Every time I'm reminded of it it knocks me on my tail.

Casey, IMO, is such a sociopath that leading the deputy to the Sawgrass apartments was nothing more than her usual modus operandi. Does anyone here remember the movie "Primal Fear" with Edward Norton as the altar boy accused of murdering the archbishop? Norton's defense attorney, Martin Vail, is played by Richard Gere, and Norton plays the defendant, Aaron Stampler. Partway through the movie Vail accuses his client of lying, and Aaron Stampler changes into a violent sociopath named Roy. Vain gets a psychiatric opinion that Aaron Stampler suffers from a split personality disorder, and Vail plans his defense strategy on this diagnosis. Vail purposely provokes
Stampler on the stand, Roy emerges, and he actually chokes the state attorney during his rage. Stampler is removed from court by deputies, and he appears not to remember his outburst of Roy. He is found not guilty by reason of insanity, and remanded to a mental institution When his defense attorney, Vail, visits him in the mental institution, Stampler waits until he is leaving, and then taunts him by asking how the state attorney's neck is. Vail whips around to face Stampler as he realizes he lied about his memory of the outburst. Stampler informs him that he IS Roy, and that meek, stuttering Aaron was a persona he made up to get himself diagnosed with multiple personality disorder to get off from the murder charge. Tragically, Vaik realizes his client is a sociopath who played him like a fiddle.

Sorry for the long post, but IMO ICA is the female Aaron Stampler, with the main difference that this is not a movie.

sitting in the backseat is better than being in the trunk the last time I checked.

DId you smell foul order - yes

Did you report it to CSI - no

Did you write it in report - no

Hosey said he did smell a foul odor, but did not report it.

CM: No inspection?

Hosey: No, I didn't.

:maddening: I think Mason just "insulted" this Lt asking him about his uniform ...

He is dressed in a nice suit ... and it looks like he has an American Flag pin on the lapel ..

And for those who can't see - and yes I'm still peeved about it, Mason threw his arms out to the side, WHY, WHY, why aren't you in uniform??? GEEZE. What a disgustiong display MASON.

Where does CM expect Casey to ride in LE's vehicle...sitting in the deputies lap ?

The DT keeps asking if certain LE have ever responded to the home before.....implying that there HAD been calls before.
