So ... it is "OK" for JB and the DT to go on TV and do a "48 Hours Special Show" just a few weeks before Jury Selection ...

But ... it is NOT OK for an experienced Detective to go online and read about "crimes" to help him solve a case ...

This just proves once again, that JB and the DT are desperate ... desparate !

Sheesh didn't we cover all this in the Agents of the State hearing?

  • #1,183
This feels like Frye hearings deja vu.

Yuri says he did not secure the car right away

says when he got there she was not a suspect she was the mother of a missing child

  • #1,185
Why would YM secure a car if he was under the impression Caylee was just missing?

  • #1,186
YM - When I got there, she was the mother of a missing child!

  • #1,187
JB - you were told of odor but you didn't do anything about it -YURi - no
JB - you didn't call CSI - Yuri - no

since jb can't mention anything else about it, they might think his cheese has slid completely off his cracker. I wonder if he wishes he could take it back.

hahahahahahahahahahahaha

Yup, all they can do is attack the investigators and witnesses.:loser:

YM - I did not mirandize her, because she was the mother of a missing child!

  • #1,191
JB almost said ' the mother of a 2 1/2 year old who is telling....'' backed off ...he almost said lies but caught himself.

  • #1,192
I hope LDB is sharpening her stilettos and goes in for the kill

  • #1,193
OH MY...JB can't compete here.

  • #1,194
Yuri didn't check the vehicle?! Didn't secure the vehicle?

Ouch. If I'm a juror, I'm NOT liking that at all.

  • #1,195
This is not going well for JB.

  • #1,196
Is JB really going to go there again?...didn't he learn last time that he cannot one-up Yuri? :floorlaugh:

There are so many details about these imaginary friends in her audio recording and so little concern for Caylee it's gotta sound like an extreme attempt to cover butt to the jury I think.

Casey says she was afraid to tell Caylee was missing. Afraid of who or what happening?

It sounded a bit like a child whose afraid of telling his mom that he broke the vase.

they were dismissed (the jury) very quickly after Baez' ambush. I do not think it will distract them from that statement/interview

moo

It sure changed the topic on this board. It went from disbelief that someone could carry on a conversation so full of lies......to......well, go read the last several pages. The topic of the video was dropped in a nanosecond. moo

JB trying to suggest that all that LE presence ad not one of them thought to investigate smelly car for evidence of decomp. Not a bad argument. Not a brilliant one either but hey, for JB this IS brilliance.

ICA was not a suspect of anything. She was the mother of a missing child.

YM back on stand. Jury back in.

YM arrived on scene at 4 a.m. Met with Sgt Hosey to be briefed. YM says it was primarily a missing persons case, possibly a theft of car or money. He was aware ICA had already gone to Sawgrass. He was either handed ICA's statement or told about it. He had a general understanding that he was looking for a missing child. Didn't recall if the garage door was open or what cars were parked where. At some point a comment was made about an odor coming from a car, but didn't know who made it or when it occurred. He did not immediately go inspect the car, despite being told there was a missing child and that there was nothing at Sawgrass and there was an odor. Never called CSI, never secured evidence at the car. Didn't find it necessary to secure the car that night.

When he got there, ICA was not a suspect. She was the mother of a missing child.

He did not know ICA was handcuffed. He did not merandize ICA. She was just the mother of a missing child.

YM agreed he wrote that ICA's statement was suspect in his report.
