I had a car with a faulty gas gauge that would read 1/4 tank when empty, yet still the needle would move up when I put gas in. His test doesn't really prove anything. JMO

SA establishing that the gas guage was working. IMO, no reason to abandon car except for smell.

And good ole GEORGE brought the GAS JUST because of his experience with towed cars: reasons being NO GAS...& oh yeah, he KNEW his daughter was a "bit" irresponsible.

I'll bet that at this point in time the jury is not surprised to hear that the gas gauge was working properly.
They will most likely be shocked if there is any testimony at all where the defendant told the truth.
