I understand what JB was trying to do re: DNA samples. However, the contaminated sample shouldn't mean a hill of beans now that they're claiming accidental drowning.

Heh - the defense is gonna have to get used to all the jury bonding the LE and crime scene folks are doing.

This is typical of any LE agency testifying in a court of law. They're trained to answer any inquiry directly to the jury. What surprises me is the DT makes issue of this. JB may not have much experience with it, however, CM would. Knowing this really surprised me with his horrid cross of the witness he did earlier.

This witness addressing the jury as well. His accent is endearing imo. Another intelligent, great witness for the state.

If I were to pick an area of the US to move to, that has the most awesome LE, I would "absolutely" choose Orange Cty, FL!

JB is trying to show that it was remarkable that there was no dna from caylee or ICA on the duct tape. He has the past witness show how easy that would be to happen and therefore ICA must have not touch the duct tape per his opening statement

What was the date he got the car?

So bizzarre. He looked very pleased with himself. What is he up to?

Jb had KC collect Caylee items for DNA also. Spiderman Toothbrush, Hair brush, ect

Next witness - Gerardo Bloise'. OSCO CSI level 2. Been with OSCO for 11 years. (Heavy Hispanic accent). Prior to OSCO he was a police officer in Puerto Rico and FBI training and FDLE and ATF - BA and Master's degree in criminology.

Job as CSI is to process crime scene via notes, photos, searching, collection, preservation and sending to lab if necessary.

(Facing jury when answering).

Doesn't perform analysis on evidence - just collecting.

On 7/16 he received the Pontiac SunFire. It came to him from Det. Charity Beasley on a towing service truck at the forensic garage. It then went to the forensic garage bay.

The car arrived in good condition. All the doors and trunk were sealed.

He was shown Exhibit 47 and it was published to the Jury. It's a photo of the car. Video being shown of it being driven into the forensics bay. He identified the seals on the telestrater.

He was shown Exhibit 48 and it was published to the Jury. Its a photo of the front of the car. The hood was sealed and he circled the seal.

He was shown Exhibit 49 and it was published to the Jury. Its a photo of the side of the car in the forensics bay (It's sitting on a large piece of brown paper).

He also obtained items from Det. Beasley. They were in a black plastic garbage bag.

My feed keeps going in and out. Can anyone tell me when the car was taken into evidence?

(Sorry, guys...not trying to be a pain.)

I wonder why Caylee had four toothbrushes? Did they keep every one she ever had or is it normal for toddlers to have that many toothbrushes?

I can't speak for the Anthony's, but in my family's case, it's kids having 'special toothbrushes' that they don't want to give up, that has lead to toothbrush overload in our house.
