I heard JB ask a witness earlier about whose dna she tested besides members of the Anthony's family. I never heard the answer. Does anyone know?

Good point but I thought she borrowed the shovel on the 17th or 18th, not the 16th. But still - if George was part of this cover up, she wouldn't have had to borrow a shovel from the neighbor period.

HEYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY - excellent point

IF Caylee drowned on the 16th...then either ICA really, really liked to dig up bamboo shoots...or....something

Those Floridian courts treat themselves like queens (or kings). Hey hardly work a 4 hour day but get full time wages at the expense of other poor people that have given up 2 months of their lives for their system. I would be up in arms if I lived in Florida. They should be lucky to get 1 hour for lunch. Who gets 90 minute lunches but State and Public workers?? No wonder the states are all broke.
Courts in my area take 90 minute lunches, too. I think some of the participants and the jury need that unwind time.

The defense tactic is all "reasonable doubt"

You all don't know I'm not Royalty right?

Maybe to remove the bamboo root?

LOL - it's just funny when you think about it.

Her daughter is recently dead and Casey, who didn't contribute much in the way of yard work before, decides to take care of the pesky bamboo root problem for mom and dad. Sure Jose, go with that and see if that flies with the jury.

JB said in his OS that Lee had been tested for paternity of Caylee. Why are the TH's making such a big deal out of it. The jury already knows this if they believe Jose.

It is actually kind of fun talking like that, um...you guys don't know that I didn't have a horse win at the track today, do you?

I missed the afternoon session, but just saw a clip of JA's cross of the CSI shovel guy. He kept it short and to the point.

Did you see a hair stuck to the sticker on the shovel? . . . Yes
Do you know where it came from? . . . No
Do you know how it got there? . . . No
Do you know who's it was? . . . No

No further questions.

I just wish when he was walking back to the table he would've thrown out a "Booyah JB! THAT, my friend, is how you DON'T beat a dead horse!"

So...what in Hades was today about? I am still scratching my head. An entire first day from the DT and I feel like NOTHING came out of it. It's like have a bunch of puzzle pieces but no picture to tell me how to put them together. UGH!

Actually, now that I think about it, I don't care. Let it be a bunch of nothing. I can concentrate more on Caylee that way, and not ICA and her defense. That's the way it should be today!

Yes, they took people out of the balcony who were sleeping. It was tweeted out by the media members.

4 civilians have been evicted from the balcony today for sleeping.
InSession

Deputy just kicked out a sleeping spectator.

That's hilarious! Bet the jury was wishin' THEY could... :floorlaugh:

I think the sticker is important to link Casey as the person who put Caylee where she was found and therefore as the person who killed Caylee. Casey must have put stickers on letters and on various items and this could easily be verified by family and friends if she did in fact do this.

I read a tweet today from Ashleigh Banfield saying that the FBI pays for their travel. I'm sure Florida taxpayers are thankful. :) lol

Well, if that is true then we are all paying for this trial...as our federal taxes pay for the FBI.

Now for my question of the day: Having had to go to work at 12:15, is it worth watching the 1:30 PM to 4:30 Pm session? Or, should I just read here?

This is so sad to think about, you guys, but it's just past 4:30 EST. Three years ago today, almost to the minute, ICA's phone activity stopped for those two ominous hours.

:grouphug: for Caylee.

:(

It is horrifying to think that at this very time 3 years ago, Caylee was lying in the hot truck of ICA's car with duct tape on her mouth and nose, fighting for breath, fighting for her very life.

If, after consuming a bottle of water, you still feel the urge to get nekkid, or find that you have to crawl on all fours across a rolling and pitching floor to get to the restroom, I would urge you to check out the Basement Party thread down in the Parking Lot, where nekkid and tipsy are merely lifestyle choices. :giggle:

dear God, you are right.

You know on this very said 3 year anniversary of Caylee's demise I just realized something. For the past three years I've been hoping the way the events unfolded on the day Caylee was murdered was that Caylee was knocked out with the chloroform before having the tape applied. But now thinking logically and this kills me is that if she was knocked out ICA could have just put a pillow over her or put something over her mouth and nose. The only logical conclusion is that Caylee was awake when ICA placed that tape across her nose and mouth. What a completely horrible way to die.
