Strickly MOO but if ICA were to take the stand it will be on Wednesday as it will be a half day and would not allow the SA thetime to cross examine her . That would allow her story to sink in with the jury for 24 hours until SA rips her apart.

and JB and ICA are "thick as thieves" so JB has total control and he will not defer to anyone for any reason. He is not about providing his client with the "best" defense and representation but about self promoting. He will not give up valuable "camera time" just to save ICA's life.

See, I think CM joined to get some of that "national publicity" for himself. I don't think there was much that was altruistic about it. But I can't figure out why he's not stepping in to prevent this runaway train from crashing. You would think he'd care about looking like a fool on a national stage.

The gamesmanship goes towards the attitudes they hold towards each other in the courtroom, that's where I'm saying JA is as much as fault. He does just as much "digging" to get under JB's skin as JB does to him.

No way is JA nearly as much at fault. JA is not willfully violating Court Orders and attempting 'trial by ambush'. I agree that JA should simmer his temper down but I've been in court with the likes of JB and it is maddening when you are expected to follow the rules yet the other side keeps breaking them and getting away with it. But JA needs to stop and realize that this is for Caylee and a calm head with get him justice for her.

I have to admit that JA has displayed some MINOR gamesmanship in this case but NOTHING along the lines of case disrupting...

I also think JA might have a reputation for getting "feisty" as I watched video of RH commentary from Saturday and even HE mentions that he has gotten into verbal altercations with JA over cases where they had to have judge intervene and mediate in chambers....

I think HHJP is just "playing it safe" in his comments in court this am

I often feel comaraderie with JA....we're very much the same...if I have to deal with anyone being willfully stupid I have a hard time controlling myself too

I've often found in my life the higher the intelligence of the person the more likely they are to use sarcasm to make a point.

Does anyone recall the Ted Bunyun (sp) case years ago in Las Vegas? At the very end of the trial both of the defendent's lost a tremendous amount of weight. The defendant in this case appears to me to be losing weight very rapidly. I predict she will be skin and bones by the end of this trial.

Sometimes I wonder about our justice system. I love my country. Many family members of mine have served in the military. I apppreciate everything that is afforded to us in this great land. However, something...I have no idea what...needs to be done regarding our justice system.

Mr. Baez is defending a person that I believe is guilty of capital murder. The "ultimate" penalty could potentially be a choice that this jury decides. Death of yet another human being. And this is the manner in which Mr. Baez is conducting himself? I cannot believe it.

I know that the defendant chose her attorney in booking. I know that they are now stuck with each other. But how in the world can the death of another yet another human being be handled with such incomptence? Is there no remedy? I've already stated that IMO, that this defendant commited each and every crime sited in the indictment. This is beyond my capablilty amd ability to understand. In the United States Of America NO defendant should be represented by an attorney like Mr. Baez. I hope this is not considered bashing. I'm trying my best to follow all of the rules. I'm really upset. I don't even know if anyone is going to read this, but I typed this post very fast and payed no attention to spelling and grammer.

The worst thing of all is that a precious sweet and innocent child was murdered IMO and thrown in the woods like garbage. This is about Caylee Marie Anthony.

I think this is the third time JB has presented witnesses who didn't present a complete summary of what they were going to testify about.

IMO - JB is trying to sandbag and blindside the SA with testimony so the SA has no time to prepare for.

When the trial is over I hope JB gets held in contempt and brought before the bar.

I gotta tell you....I am starting to think maybe Baez truly does NOT know the rules of court or standard law/trial practices.

He attempted this same thing in the Nilton Diaz case and let's not forget it took him EIGHT TRIES to pass the Bar!!!

He has rarely ever had to argue ANY cases...if you pull up his previous cases, the overwhelming majority of them end quickly in plea agreements

I would agree with you, if I hadn't heard HHJP school him on the meaning of this particular court order twice now. JB knows he's violating that court order, he's just calling HHJP's bluff at this point.

In my opinion it is almost to the point where Baez could request a mistrial based on too much leniency from the judge! I can see him blaming HHJP for causing him to push the envelope. Hope I am wrong as usual.

I'm not arguing against your opinion of their dislike and digs at each other - I'm just not going to lump them both as being just as fault as the other. Baez has violated Court orders and tried to ambush Ashton. Ashton doesn't violate orders, attempt trial by ambush, or stand in open Court and call opposing counsel repulsive.

She probably had one of her 'fistie conniptions' when she saw how huge the sweater was...gotta look sexy for the male jurors, yanno! :banghead:

Its amazing how very many lives Casey Anthony ruins. Every single person she comes in contact with their lives are ruined. She is ruining Baez's life. She is ruining C. Mason's life by taking his distinguished career and making him look like a buffoon at the end of it. I think Baez is going to be out a ton of money and maybe stuck in jail at the end of this case, maybe lose his license or be disbarred.

But Baez can't even see it. He will do anything to try and get her off and she just keeps on ruining people's lives and going her merry way. She really is a horror story. She has decimated her whole family.

I disagree...I think Baez is ruining his own career or what might be left of it. He's doing underhanded, sleazy things to warrant a mistrial (his OS showed me that)..Yes, I believe a mistrial is what he's after since he KNOWS, ICA will never be acquitted...but to blame the state for playing games when clearly, they have been forthright and upfront but I can't say the same for Baez..he truly is out of his league and this trial is about HIM, not the death of an innocent child....he is having a trial about himself...first he claimed the state put the DP on the table to get him off as a defense attorny since he isn't DP qualified. Then he asked for a mistrial after the jailhouse tapes were played because the Anthony's spoke badly about him and what his true intentions were...to make a name for himself...it's all about Baez....JMHO
