kc's only prayer is to get on stand beg for her life & blame her altered reality on family & then have Baez apologize to her for failing her

I find it odd that JB seems surprised that the witness isn't joyfully going down the path that his life's work, beloved co-workers and chosen workplace are all worthless frauds. I mean, did he really think that Wise would come in and commit career suicide, just because JB called him as a witness and asked him some "clever" questions?

witness says the abundance of chloroform was very unusual to him!

He would not expect it be found in the trunk of the vehicle.

He says it was detectable at levels significantly above the base line -

Ok, I'm now confused. :waitasec:

I left for a couple hours to take grandaughter to play park. When I return husband fills me in on where we are and says this is a DEFENSE witness! Really? Seriously? What was the problem with Baez getting the testimony he wanted from his own witness? Are his witnesses getting smart to the idea that maybe they were not informed of all the information they needed to make completely informed opinions?

Same questions. Had to work.

Wise says chloroform isn't a typical chemical thing to find in a trunk of a car. #CaseyAnthony -jfell

WOW!!! We know where this guys interests lie. He grinned and couldn't understand anything Baez asked, but he seems to know exactly how to answer JA. I hope JB brings up when the last time he spoke to the State.

What? no smile for Baez?

Hi everyone. I never post but have followed this case since the beginning 3 years ago. I am now coming out of lurkdom to post because there is something that is worrying me regarding the jury. I know that it has been stated over and over that the jurors will use their common sense and intelligence when evaluating all the evidence presented here. But what if a lot of this stuff just goes over their heads? We know that JA and LDB routinely shoot down the testimony presented by the defense but I wonder if the jury knows that. For example, when LDB cross examined Yuri, she asked if ICA was out on bail between the searches. We all knew what she was driving at. But what about the jury? My fear is that the nuances of the case may get overlooked. Does that make sense?

It is always a worry that pertinent facts get lost. There is SO much information to digest on this case, that many here can't recall various facts even though many have followed, myself included obviously, and studied this case for years.

I wonder if they catch dates and are able to assemble the significance to them. I guess it is a trust issue that enough of those little nuggets like her being out during that period of time get through but likely a lot is lost in the whole scheme of things.

good post by the way. I know I have the same concerns....

wow, i just had a thought,Dr Wise just said that chloroform was a carcenegenic - a cancer causing chemical. i read through ICA's letters to the inmate the other day she spent a big chunk of one worrying about cervical cancer (in relation to jade goody who died age 27) and also in another writes about a breast lump.... wonder if now shes found out how carcenegenic it is she's had a panic...

I am completely confused.. AS PER USUAL WITH THIS CASE.

JB is treating HIS witness like an idiot...you would think he would make an effort to be nice to the guy.

ETA Just realized he is a state witness for re-direct.. rubuttal <--- lol

HAHA I was just gonna say NOW I am confused cause I thought this guy was originally the States witness then I saw ur ETA .. so I feel better

Lots of law students attend court for the #CaseyAnthony trial. The defense is using some law students from Florida A&M as unpaid interns.

If I were those law students, I definitely would NOT put that on my resume.

Wise and Vass spent time trying to figure out why there was chloroform

They are clearly getting their unpaid monies worth.

Vass and Wise sat down one evening "just contemplating why [chloroform] was there." #CaseyAnthony
