Since he is probably the only one working in the family, maybe he can't take that much time off?
When he testified the other day, he said he was not working. IIRC.

Oh wow. I didn't know that. That explains it for me. She really does not look and act like a defense attorney. She's too soft spoken, sweet, imo.
Why in the world did she take on this case? :banghead:

Hey guys- A few people brought up Rick P.'s (Cindy's brother) interview with LE... I found the link in the document thread but its no longer available. Anyone have a working link? I don't remember reading it my first time around and it seems like it'd be interesting (to add to this dull trial day)
Don't usually post but want you guys to know your comments keep me up to speed throughout the day!

More pizza for everyone, straight from Chicago the best Pizza pies in the world!
Because she doesn't have a television so had no idea the train wreck of a circus the case really was is my guess. :waitasec:
Mmmmm, Malnati's. I ordered it for the Super Bowl Bears vs Colts. I keep waiting for the Cubbies to get to the World Series so I have reason to get it shipped here again. I miss Chicago land pizza so much!
I do believe that this whole point that the DT is (was ) trying to discredit had its "Frye Hearing" in order for it even to come into evidence in the first place.
Am I wrong on that?? If so correct me..
It appeared to me that Dr. Vass and Oak Ridge Labs were on a cutting edge of technology in producing their findings, and according to the outcome of the Frye Hearing, it passed the "Smell Test" (scuse the pun) and was allowed.
Who is to say the lab had NO Policy Procedure?? in their lab..I have to assume that Dr. Wise would do his testings to rule out contaminations otherwise, none of their research studies and other studies would ever have been accepted and peer reviewed by the "Scientific Community"...
Oh my...Can you imagine how much longer it would have taken for DNA testings to be accepted?? if researchers had their hands tied to OLD POLICY AND PROCEDURES setup that didnt even take into account these findings by such "Researchers" who think outside the box?????

lived in Germany over six years and went to five october fests in munchen!!!!! great picture!!!
Do you think the jury felt the defense had something to hide when they continually objected and went to sidebar during the State's case? This witness is highly accredited. If I were on the jury, I would be upset with the multiple objections and sidebars. I would want to know what this expert had to say.
Obviously, the witness is an expert. Obviously the DT wants his testimony. Obviously the PT does not. As a juror, that must determine the guilt of the defendant, I would want as much information from the experts as possible to help me make my decision. Since the beginning of the DT's CIC, JA has had numerous objections, and called for numerous sidebars. At some point as a juror I am going to begin to think the state has something to hide.
As always, my entire post is my opinion only.
Yum, Lou's!!
I wouldn't wait for the cubbies though girl, you'll be missing chicago pizza for quite awhile! ;-)
