AZ- if DCFS had received a call wouldn't they have to make contact, see and speak to the girls?

Based on this story, hopefully that has happened:

this information was posted earlier in this thread - just providing a link now that an article is up

Sievers involved in wife's murder, DCF aware

The Department of Children and Families responded to an inquiry from The News-Press about the safety of the two pre-teen Sievers daughters.

Natalie Harrell, DCF spokeswoman, said: "We are involved with the family and are aware of the newly released documents. At this time, we do not have any information that can be released."

Did anyone understand the reference to an envelope being in CWW's possession that was dated July 1 and addressed to TS??

Missed this reference so I don't really know what I'm talking about, but I do remember reading that TS's luggage appeared to be rummaged through, and things were removed from her wallet (her AMEX was removed from its usual spot). Or maybe when CWW made the second trip to FL, he took a piece of mail address to TS? The latter makes more sense if the envelope was postmarked July 1.

Yes, I read that too. Why/what mail did he have? Strange. Didn't the wife see these
things? They live in a trailer.

I found it.
It's on page 19 of the investigative report.

It's unfathomable. While on a FAMILY vacation, MS was communicating with
CWW on a hidden burner... Plotting and scheming TS's demise. Pure evil.

BBM

So it will be added trauma when the girls are eventually removed from the custody of MS and taken in by either of the named guardians (uncle or friend) in Teresa's will. They will feel as if they are living with the enemy. What a horrible man he is to turn these children against their mother's family (I'm also referencing earlier articles regarding their interaction with their uncle and grandmother)!

I'm afraid I do not see him letting loose of these girls willingly. He is another Josh Powell IMO. I hope there are plans in place for their safety. The brainwashing can be sorted out later. Poor little girls. :(

IIRC, TS nominated who I thought was her brother, Frank L., as guardian of the girls.

Pretty disgusting and brazen.

No, I didn't understand the significance of the empty envelope being in the bag with the borrowed camera that was in CWW's possession. CWW didn't bode so well after his return to MO. He didn't return the borrowed Garmin nor the camera to the rightful owner. What a slimy leech he is.

MS probably put CWW' cash payment in it?

It's odd that the GPS was still in the rental car, days after the murder. Only thing I can think of is that when he returned the car and they cleaned it, the rental employees thought CWW added the GPS to his rental contract, which would make it the rental company's property.

This is so strange, so CWW had a bag and in it was mail addressed to TS that he brought back to Missouri. Also in the bag was a camera. Of what use would a camera be? A GPS, I get. A camera? The only use would be to have photographic proof of completing the job but that doesn't seem to apply here.

Really curious about the "secure texts" reference. Specifically, what were these two dummies referring to?According to CWW, once the text is 'out there' its always out there, so he didn't want to use their 'secure text' method anymore. All I can think of is perhaps they shared an email account and left messages in the draft folder for each other. If so, YAY! drafts can be recovered. Either way, hoping the 'secure text' method is a treasure trove of incriminating statements.

If its true both were having affairs it could answer a question that we have all had. Why was the particular person contacted to check on TS? jmo

I knew in my head that he had to be guilty. But in my heart for the sake of those two little innocent motherless girls, I sooo wanted him not to be. Since he had not yet been arrested, I had convinced myself (after reading about how evil CWW was) that just MAYBE he wasn't involved at all...I would be wrong. BIG TIME WRONG
= Note to self =
Listen with your head and not with your heart.

I know we all here at WS's are devastated, but I can't even imagine the pain and suffering that TS's family is having to endure tonight. There are no words.
:crying:

Kate I felt same! Felt like he was involved, but dearly hoped he wasn't for the sake of T's daughters. I read how he lawyered up and wasn't cooperating, which I didn't know. I pray that he doesn't do anything stupid and that the girls remain safe!! My biggest concern.

I just don't get it! JR supposedly destroyed his phone because it contained photos of he and CWW in FL. It's almost like these 2 idiots were trying to get caught.

Did CWW still happen to have the rental, since his car was in the shop?

I think that initially, MS contacted his mother to go over but told her not to bother once the friend was en route. Would be interesting to know how the chain of events unfolded. Did BS not answer her phone at first, so MS called the friend? Or did MS want to spare his mother the horror, and decided to call the friend and tell BS to go home?

He returned the first rental and then rented a second car for the second trip to FL for the funeral. Which is odd because his car had been repaired at that point.

IIRC, a second rental car was used for the trip to FL for TS's funeral. Two MO rental cars rented by CWW.

Another weird fact. JR brought a ball peen hammer home, kept it in the cooler. Two ball peen hammers, one left at the scene with blood and hair on it, one taken back to Missouri. Why would anyone keep a duplicate of the murder weapon left at the scene?
