I see. Good point - The dark area under her arm could be a purse or a shadow.
I looked again at the evidence purse photos and, while it's difficult to tell for sure, the strap on her black purse doesn't look long enough to wrap around her back under her arms.

^^^ I tried Insert Image, From URL, Paste URL... but didn't seem to work. KateB - help please! I followed your instructions, I think.
Here's the purse photo - BATES 28081

The purse strap has a latch, so you can extend it or clip it? That's interesting. The question is, when looking at the content of her black purse, is that the key to the van next to the mercedes key?

So yes, the Toyota car key is on this chain. That's why I think she had her black purse with her on this trip. Her (?) car keys were in it. Staging objects that came out of a purse she did not take on a trip, would be hard to explain IMO.

Mace!!

Can U take Mace on a plane?
I don't think its allowed!
According to TSA, Self Defense Sprays are NOT permitted in Carry-On baggage:
https://www.tsa.gov/travel/security-screening/prohibited-items
Self Defense Sprays

One 4 fl. oz. (118 ml) container of mace or pepper spray is permitted in checked baggage provided it is equipped with a safety mechanism to prevent accidental discharge. Self-defense sprays containing more than 2 percent by mass of tear gas (CS or CN) are prohibited in checked baggage. For more information, visit faa.gov

I think those set of keys from TS's black purse were always, and only, for her at-home purse.

She obviously had a key to drive the van home from the airport, but there was probably (speculation) an extra key to the van in her travel bag or perhaps a key was hidden on the van, or maybe she used MS’s van key.

When I travel, I never take my full set of keys. The full set of keys always stays in my main purse which rests on my sofa in my living room while I’m away on vacation. I only take a house key and a car key with me on vacation. I never take office keys, file cabinet keys, etc., on vacation.

Here is something interesting I just noticed about the wallet, which kind of piggybacks off of an earlier theory I had about possible shoe/boot prints in blood at the CS. When I was looking at the photos of the area that were measured but before they removed the items, I noticed the wallet sits almost right in between the boot prints. Like if you were holding something(or going through it), and then dropped it on the floor. Later the area that the wallet was in is marked by an evidence marker. Maybe the killers went through her wallet, and then dropped in on the floor. Or maybe it was part of their staging, vs something she dropped during the struggle?
MOO

The first photo is the area I am talking about with the wallet, and the possible shoeprints. In the second photo, I have (crudely) drawn around the area that looks like shoeprints to me. The third photo is when the wallet has been removed, and again my outline.

I was able to find the photos of the area in the kitchen that looked to me like clean up had been attempted, that I mentioned in the earlier I will post them below. To me, these tiles look to have stains that someone attempted to wipe or wash away. It comes off in the photos as a red tint. I'm not sure why they would have done it, unless they were injured in the attack and wanted to try and make sure their DNA was not accessible to LE. Or possibly they were attempting to clean up any footprints? Maybe what those black towels they bought at Walmart were for? MOO

On the envelope that says Mark, does it say refund in the top left corner under someone's name?

The pink may be the tile color looking more pink in that particular area due to the direct light (photographer) shining on them. Since we are talking about the tiles, just wanted to add they are 16 inch tiles according to the metric ruler piece.

Bingo! YAY, NIN! I could not figure out what that orangey thing was in the backpack photo. Looks like it was the lining of the purse! Good job

It think it does. I noticed that earlier. I can't quite make out what is written above it. Maybe " 3 months funds" ???

Ahh, I see what you are saying. I need to go compare the direct light photos, with the darker photos to see if any of the stains are there in the direct light. I just cant figure out how they didn't leave hardly any footprints, unless they somehow removed them after the fact. Maybe standing on something then taking it with them? IDK

You may be right about that. Maybe one of them ended up bleeding and wanted to clean up their blood but hence the partial clean up. Your thought on this made me think of the mugshot of CWW without a shirt on. Were they documenting a wound or injury that we can't see in that pic?

LE has stated that the crime scene was staged before, during, and after... I think I have that right.

If the fabric is a scarf, could they have tied her up (hands behind her back) as part of whatever those idiots were trying to stage? If it's a pillow case and had been placed on her head, I think we'd be seeing a lot more than just drops of blood (the photos where the blood pooled suggests a lot messier crime scene). It may have been used as a drop cloth or clothing protectant, maybe by the guy that didn't have a jumpsuit?
It is strange. Maybe CWW was ordered by MS to keep the mess to a minimum.

I'm catching up from a few days away but I like the "hands tied" idea. It could explain the blood droplets on it and big spots of blood if she fell to the floor with her hands tied (in front or behind) Hmm now I need to play it out logistically and see if it makes "sense" which not much does in this case. Documents (??) say there was a struggle throughout the house so maybe they needed to subdue her to keep her still? 😕
