Good news :)

Trooper has a new beginning with a foster home,
committed to helping him recover with an open yard to play and cuddles all day.

And Trooper's fans have helped cause a new wave of donations to the Leon County Humane Society, which initially took him in.

:D

TROOPER UPDATE. Trooper the Dog now has a shirt to get out the message on pet adoption. According to the Leon County Humane Society:"Trooper is now safe in foster care. He has hundreds of applications and inquiries and we know Trooper is going to have the best life. He will be with an owner who has breed experience and is well suited to offer him a permanent home for the rest of his life."

Seems like future Rafael will weaken greatly once he gets into the Gulf of Mexico due to wind shear and dry air.

Wow the NHC is confirming that Rafael will get ripped apart by wind shear and dry air once he's in the Gulf. And it seems like he's headed towards Louisiana.

Yeah looks like a great big sloppy rain event coming. I hope everyone has remodeled their place to above flood level. I hope the leaders are helping evacuate those who need assistance.

WHC has made some progress, but has a very, very long way to go. Sadly.
