#BREAKING: Boone officials confirm that 12 tiny homes built by Amish volunteers from Pennsylvania, have been delivered to victims of Hurricane Helene in Western North Carolina.Each home was delivered fully equipped with twin beds, linens, heaters, and throw blankets.

#BREAKING: Over 1,000 musical instruments will be delivered to musicians in Western North Carolina who lost everything in Hurricane Helene.The effort has been coordinated nationwide by local music shops who want to save, "the soundtrack of America’s front porch..."

The names Beryl, Helene, and Milton have been retired by the World Meteorological Organization and will never be used for Atlantic hurricanes again. They were replaced with the names Brianna, Holly, and Miguel.

The name John was also retired and won't be used for Pacific hurricanes again. It was replaced with the name Jake.
