The news is usually so bad I can hardly stand to read the headlines, but hasn't this just been the greatest story? It has captured the interest and hearts of people around the globe, and if only for a few hours has brought the world closer together.

Don't know how true this is but on the David Letterman show tonight they said that all 33 of the miners would be on the show next Tuesday night (the 19th).

I would hope they would rest up before they start touring. I don't know if they are mentally ready to start going around from show to show. I know the money is probably driving them, but they are running on adrenaline right now, when that wears off they are gonna crash hard.

I would hope they would rest up too but your know how the media is and I am sure their first appearances will get them the most money. At a coal miners pay in Chile I bet that money is a lot to them plus in this day of instant news they need to get what they can while the story is still hot.

Wishing them all the best in whatever decisions they make.
