Terrible handwriting. Anyone have any idea what #9 might say? I'm drawing a blank.

Also, I find it interesting that they took a pair of Nike's, yet there was a "Van's-type" print in the house. Hmmm....
The Nikes were size 13. That is a BIG shoe and not that common. If the "Van's style" shoe print could be show to also be a size 13 it includes BK as the possible leaver of the shoe print. Also, a size 13 is sometimes hard to find. One might be able to trace size 13 shoes purchased and if the person did not pay cash, you might get a hit that BK owned a pair. MOO and speculation.

HA! This is what I thought in my head. "Sounds like what he was wearing at arrest....wait, does he generally carry a flashlight on him?"
Only when he's putting trash in the neighbors yard or skulking through someone's house in the middle of the night.

13 not common?
Ha!
You would be surprised what sizes shoes my teen pupils wear!
Literally boats!

I think it's also less common for a guy his height (6') so if he DOES wear a size 13 at 6'... I think that's more damning than if his shoe size was in the avg for men (11 to 12.5) 5' 10" to 6' 2". I posted this upthread:

Estimated shoe sizes by height for men in the United States are:

HeightShoe size
5’5″ or shorter7 to 9
5’6″ to 5’9″9.5 to 10.5
5’10” to 6’2″11 to 12.5
6’3″ and taller13 to 20+

Size 13 shoes. Not Vans, I wonder how many males wear size 13.
Just noting here. My son is 6'5" and wears size 13 shoes.

Removed what Gemmie had already posted. :)

I was going to say the same thing. Half the boys at your local high school are at or near size 13.

Are we sure this isn't what he was wearing at the time of his arrest? It does say it's a property receipt
When items are seized they have to go through a strict chain of command so as not to contaminate and jeopardize the evidence and the investigation.

Everything is bagged and labeled and documented carefully as the evidence moves to be processed through the forensic lab then to be stored in the police station evidence locker.

The clothes BK was wearing could only be taken as evidence if he took them off.
Is it possible that LE made him take his clothes off so they could put them into evidence?

I do not think so because in Pennsylvania to search a person LE needs a search warrant that specifically names the person being searched. However, LE must make sure the person arrested does not have any weapons or anything illegal on their person.

".....name or describe with particularity the person or place to be searched

Maybe it just looks that way? When my son was an 11.5 they looked like boats because nearly everyone else wore 10 or less. I acknowledge that in the past 4 years the rest of the male population may have changed foot size to increase by 2.5 sizes for most of them, but research doesn't seem to indicate this is so. ( see the Healthline link above)

Kind of makes me wonder if they don't wear shoes like they wore their jeans for a while: too big so you can just slide them off and on easier. ;)

They had the ability to search and look for all those things and all they came up with was that tiny list that was seized?

Can someone clarify, is trash something that they could seize and only note in the actual file? If they grabbed whatever BK put in the neighbor's trash can, that doesn't have to go on any kind of search warrant because it was trash and no search warrant required, correct?

Gloves might have been stuffed into a pocket?

Sheer speculation

Here is an article on it.
Interesting. GSK trash was searched in the initial phase of DNA elimination of suspects.

Is that what Entin says? Killer-groupies? But BK has not been trialed yet nor found guilty.
I consider the word killer premature. BK is merely the accused.
You obviously haven’t been exposed to the content over there. IMO BKs guilt or innocence is immaterial to the members of that SubReddit. It’s straight up fanaticism. Repeatedly doxxing people. Accusing people the police have cleared. Etc. and the mods made no effort to clean it up.

It was the completely anti-thesis to this place.

A subreddit being outright banned is not something that happens everyday. Whatever the reason, it was so egregious that Reddit completely bypassed the Quarantine stage.

Im 6’2” and wear a size 13. In the U.S. I have never in my entire life faced difficulties shopping for sneakers. Online or in person. And I own over 50 pairs of them (yes, my wife thinks it’s a problem).

Even most European brands top out at Size 13. So never had an issue buying dress shoes.

The one time that sticks out to me is a trip to Japan. Where a US equivalent 12.5 is the highest a lot of their most popular brands had available in store.

45 days later and 3,000 miles away.

I’m not surprised.

I used to have a neighbor who worked for the FBI. She met her husband when he was a sanitation collector and she enlisted his assistance in a case. True story.

Apparently it’s allowable, and covered in the FBI Operations Manual.

His neighbours at Steptoe Apartments also said he was often awake in the middle of the night, disturbing them. Maybe he was still awake when the SWAT team approached before they broke down the doors? ( So he has the torch?) Can't remember now what hour the SWAT busted the home - before dawn?

And as @wary has suggested, maybe he had two pairs gloves in his pockets from a previous trash-sneak? ( Wonder what colour the gloves were? Black, as per the single black glove previously collected by MPD?)

How can a person function with so little sleep?
