Funny you should bring that up. That handwriting is SOOOO bad (How bad is it?) that I wondered what would happen if that person had an accident and wasn't around to decipher his handwriting for others. I also wondered if they can read their own handwriting! And no, I'm not being a smart aleck because I've been unable to read my own handwriting when I rush (and I've been told I have very nice handwriting. Just not when I rush. lol)

Due to that, I don't understand why it has to be written in this day and age. Typing would be better, along with using spellcheck, and then hit the print button! Is that too much to ask?? We can send a man to the moon but our LE are still using paper and pen...
The forms are filled out/completed at the scene, while items are being numbered and collected. It's also a receipt, and one needs to be able to make notations and initials and line out the lines that are not used.

Well, huh. Did you all know there is such a thing as ID Card inspection gloves?

Gloves used for transporting cards to and from printers in a safe and cleanly manner (Translated from some language that is not English, I am sure)

They have a powder-free surface to ensure you won't contaminate fresh cards when loading them in your printer when making badge cards.

Nitrile gloves work for this as well.

Some new knowledge for the day.

Was Ethan was using Xana's log-on for doordash delivery? Who actually ordered Doordash? Anyone can have food delivered to an address...

A security camera caught audio of a “whimper” and “thud” around 4:17 a.m., according to the affidavit.

Hello, what is the kitty litter for please? I'm in the UK and unless you travel with actual kitties in your car, which would be awesome, I'm clueless...
did someone answer this for you already? traction if you get stuck in snow/ice.

LE should /would have confirmed that the order came from Xana's account, but I don't see how they would have proof that she was the one that made the order? It seems like Ethan or any of the housemates could have used her log-in -- or anyone outside the house that knew her information (log in, password, etc)? Edited to add they would have looked at her phone history and would have found the order if it was placed using
her phone.

Interesting. I guess they weren't interested in his license and insurance card. Honestly, I'm not sure why they are interested in half of the items they seized.
If he did not completely decontaminate his hands after the murders (?) he might have touched something and it still has DNA on it, IMO, just a guess. When you are removing gloves, you can pretty easily contaminate your hands.

I suspect they might actually tag things with a # (sticky label) as they collect them and then make a more detailed list back at the office, IMO

I looked and couldn't find any mention of Bryan in Montana. It is a 9.5 hour trip from Moscow to Montana. Anyone else know if and when he was there? Maybe it was earlier in his life? Since this was his parents home searched, some of the items collected could be from years ago.

MOO
With respect, it isn't 9.5 hours from Moscow to everywhere in Montana. N. Idaho is thin and Montana is the next state to the East.

Per Google maps, it is 3.5 hours from Moscow to Superior, Montana, and that includes going the long way around through Coeur d'Alene. (Thanks to the mountains, direct routes are probably few and far between.)

Given his seemingly compulsive roaming, it would surprise me if BK had NOT been to Montana during his 5 months in Pullman.

ETA: changed "anywhere" to "everywhere" in first line. I.e., not all places in Montana are 9.5 hours from Moscow, ID.

No, they are forms, and receipts for the property taken and are completed at the scene. A copy must be left there, see BK father's signature acknowledging receipt. See the attached images posted on WS

Yes, it' seems like everyone is snug in their beds until the doordash at 4 am. I wonder who answered the door. Was there a phone notification?

D.M. and B.F. both made statements during interviews that indicated the occupants of the King Road Residence were at home by 2:00 am. and asleep or at least in their rooms by approximately 4:00 a.m. This is with the exception of Kenrodle, who received a DoorDash order at the residence at approximately 4:00 a.m. (law enforcement identified the DoorDash delivery driver who reported this information).

yes- just think they might tag with a # as they collect so that something with an indistinct description, e.g. "knife," has a # on it

I'd think there should have been a notification once the food was dropped off - most of the time sent immediately after it's set on the stoop (or where ever). But I think that at the very least Xana and Ethan may have been awake when the delivery came. Maybe not though. Maybe Ethan was sleeping.

I agree.

If he was in MT, it’s kinda chilling to again be reminded how much time he spent driving for the short time he was here. I wonder if he visited Missoula, another wonderful college town?

A very good question...

Sorry for not putting everything in one post. You brought up wondering who answered the door, and I've been wondering the same thing due to the timing of the delivery and when they're saying the suspect entered the home. There's a site that comes up in searches using 1122 King Rd, Moscow ID tour, but I'm not sure if we're allowed to link it here. Anyway between that and the video of the roommates pretending to be each other, it's easy to (see) "stand" on the steps leading up to the third floor and watch someone come up the stairs to the 2nd floor. The ceiling above the stairs to the 3rd floor is high and lets anyone coming down fully see the living room and the top part of the stairway coming up to the 2nd. It looks like if BK (or whoever) was coming down they could have stepped back onto the landing and they wouldn't be seen (by anyone coming up the stairs or even in that section of the living room). Thus no confrontation and no need to go after Xana or Ethan.

Honestly I've kind of half thought they may have enjoyed some alone time that led to late night munchies. Most likely my mind trying to project a bit of happiness their way before everything happened.
I'd thought I'd read, dozens of threads ago, that the doordash guy had actually stated to LE that he'd handed the delivery to Xana in person. (He'd initiated contact with LE directly, upon hearing of the murders). Haven't found specific post yet, but still looking. JMO

Login is only one small part of the equation.

Doordash has the IP addresses and Browser UserAgent of all orders. The IP will point them to a network and eventually a device, the Browser UserAgent will quickly give them an idea if it came from a desktop or a mobile phone.

The IP doesn't care about login.

LE not knowing where the order comes from is practically an impossibility. The only thing in question would be is it the owner of the device the one that made the order (i.e. Ethan uses Xana's phone)

Thank you. And if LE talked to the driver and they confirmed it was handed to Xana, I guess that answers both questions.

If it says ID cards inside glove inside box, and assuming the writer is not from some country where glove means wallet, why would a person put ID cards, or 10 cards, inside a glove? Forget the box, why put cards in a glove? Why put anything in a glove?

To hide it. To keep multiple things together and you didn't have any extra pink zipper or green zipper or blue zipper or whatever zipper baggies. To keep with you when you are hiking or exercising (I have a set of gloves with a compartment for ID cards, believe it or not). Other ideas?
Some of these card gloves prohibit thieves from scanning your card’s information as you pass by them. This is not your 4 fingers and a thumb type of glove.
