The article also says that according to BC, C & G are not interested in his help.

I wouldn't think they would be coming from Leonard..but would it be the same answer if, lets say, the offer was from Rob D?

Yes, I read that, but considering the bad blood between them, I can't believe he would even consider this. .:innocent:

This is Leonard we are talking about..of course he would, cowboy hat and all. :D

I *KNEW* it! I am officially psychic. I've been mumbling the past few days that I *KNEW* LP was going to try to buy this house.

I need to start carrying around a tape recorder.

And my DH thinks I'm nuts when I mumble about this case ;-)

Really not surprised since LP did say he wanted to buy the land where Caylee's remains were found. Which sent Cindy into a tizzy I am sure.

You have just got to LOVE Leonard Padilla. There he is, immediately, inserting himself on the scene...and I tell ya, I seriously doubt it was compassion that caused him to make his offer...there is NO love lost between these folks and Leonard knows it better than anyone...so I can only assume he is:
A) reverting true to form and chasing those cameras
B) stirring the hornets nest for a reaction
C) considering if they do NOT accept his offer buying the place for himself
D) all of the above

And with all due respect, there is NO way they did not know this was coming down the pike...they have not made a payment since June...who else but the Anthonys would claim they had no idea they were being foreclosed on when no payments had been made in so long?

It all might have flown if not for their adoring attorney and his offer of this fiasco as PROOF that they have not profitted from this baby's death...they gave themselves away right there, with that one single statement...

D) All the Above

I can picture Leonard sitting back, smiling with his cowboy hat on, toothpick in his mouth..and thinking..this is really going to piss Cindy off.:D

That's funny!
I can just see LP hosting his own TV show - 'Live from Hopespring Drive' -and we have Nancy Grace calling in on line one..

Now that's too funny :biglaugh:

FWIW Dominic Casey is also in foreclosure- I saw this on another site- his home in Longwood is being foreclosed, according to a filing with Seminole County... do any of them pay their bills?

Oh, dear.....too bad the psychic did not tell DC that day on the phone it would have been better to just go to breakfast and forget about searching those woods as it could have some serious consequences. JMO

In 2005 they got a second mortgage. Caylee was born in 2005. George left home in 2005. These people are so unreal. People in financial straits shouldn't borrow more money. That cruise, those new clothes, the new hairdo, the bling Cindy wears, the tattoos .....they spend spend spend and don't know when to quit. If mom and pop hadn't made asses of themselves on tv, they'd be able to get jobs and pay their bills. Really, what's more important - car payment or house payment - What are they doing driving SUVs when they can't pay their mortgage? Idiots.
...forget about getting jobs...if they hadn't seen this as an opportunity to improve their lot in life...they could have kept their old jobs.
I'm not saying they didn't need time to regroup/recoup after Caylee went missing...but that's not what happened. They did the exact opposite...they milked the media for every on-air minute they could. No...my gut tells me that they liked their new found "fame" too much to ever consider going back to their ho-hum jobs.

Now there's an idea

:shocked2: Shocked? Not
Someone should clue Leonard in...posters were only joking when they suggested he buy the property.

I wonder if LP will ride back into town and save the day, we all know that CA and LP had a very volitile relationship, but I can see LP still wanting to get on her good side, and from the looks of it (Haleigh Cummings case) he has plenty of money to throw around.....

Wonder no more Kimmer! I think you were the first to call it!

Maybe Sheba from Illinois could be one of his talking heads!

I think Nancy would be doing a 4.3 second cameo and the caller would be Sheba from Illinois.

Sometimes I try to imagine this case without LP in it, try to quantify how much he has contributed to its circus atmosphere, how much he has exploited a poor tiny little dead girl for his own publicity and entertainment. I actually liked him a lot at first but now I find him contemptible. I have no faith in his motives whatsoever.

Well....at least their daughter won't be homeless. ROFLROFLROFLROFLROFLROFLROFL

1. KC's "team" has run completely out of money. Lyons wants KC declared indigent so that the Florida taxpayers can pick up the tabs of the attorneys. Jose needs to be paid for his "pretend" lawyering--let the "little people" pay him!

2. The Anthonys likely don't want to live there anymore! They are likely thinking about a nicer place more suitable to their status (in their mind's eyes) --a home more befitting the "foundation" people that they now are.

3. "Losing" the house (on purpose!) is also a way to to avoid paying Zenaida anything if she wins her case,

4. "Losing" the house (on purpose!) is a way of not paying the fines imposed on KC,

5. "Losing" the house (on purpose!) is a way to avoid having to contribute to the defense (even if they have no obligation to do so).. they can also play both sides of the fence here---not “supporting” their daughter by making it look like they "aren't able to".

The money that they have made thus far is hidden somewhere and they are going to wind up in a lovely new place. You know it! I am glad I have figured this out. oh..

6. "losing" the house (on purpose!) is a way to stick it to Bank of America--CA probably "hates them" because of some evil thing that she believes they did (oh, ...like demand restitution for the money that KC stole). That type of thing would make them a Cindy "enemy" for sure.

Respectfully Quoted affinity :)

ITA I can't help but believe Cindy is up to no good. I am sorry but IMHO Cindy is Casey just without the murdering. A WSer on a thread recently said(and say who you are to get credit, because I forget: sorry)

"They(Cindy and George)will do anything but do what they are supposed to be doing"...and I think that sums up Casey's behavior too. Again...I know Casey is responsible for Caylee's death but because of the behavior of her parents I can see why she is the way she is.

I just so totally agree with affinity's post. :twocents:

A friend of mine who lives in the Orlando area just emailed me and said WFTV just reported that Lenny Padilla said he would help the Anthonys save their house, but their attorney said no, they would rather lose the house than let him help!!

Thanks. Isn't that called, "cutting your nose off to spite your face"?

I personally would not take grudges that far and don't know whether this offer is really just disingenuous but .... business is business.

I'm thinking Karma is a bad a$$ beoch!

How "Cindy" of them. Just a simple "Thank you for the offer but we'll manage", would have put them in a much more positive light with the public and they can't even do that. I don't get it. I can see them turning down the help but to be rude about someone offering to help. Oh, wait.......here we go again. Now I remember the "do not invite list" for the memorial service. She's her own worst enemy. No wonder KC has problems. JMO
