Tara wants answers about what happened to her child. If he wasn't involved how can he help her with those answers?

#Rafferty sentenced to 25 years to life, plus 10 yrs for kidnapping, 10 years for sexual assault, both concurrent. On sex offender registry.

So is this in total 45yrs? I dont get it. 25 for murder 10 for the sexual assault and 10 for abduction? When they said he has a chance of parole in 2034 that is only 22yrs, is that minus the 3 the dirt bag already spent in jail??? ARGH!!!

Maybe he's hoping there are still some out there who believes him. His family? Does he have any friends left? Doubt it. I'm not surprised he still claims to be innocent.

YA the only one there will be his mother and that in itself is sad. I got no comment for that.

I couldn't agree with you more. It would honestly torment the hell out of me if I were in her shoes now. The proof is still in the evidence and I don't believe for a second it would change her mind of the verdict, but I know I would always wonder what it is he knows and wants to say to me.

Why offer it to Tara and not Rodney?

Because he thinks he can manipulate women.

And as we saw when he was questioned being confronted by grown men makes him cry until he throws up.

It wasn't ignored. The person in charge said the laptop was covered by the search warrant for the car. The ruling the judge used to say that a laptop was a place not a thing and therefore needed a separate search warrant wasn't even handed down by the court until weeks AFTER the laptop was searched.

LE did nothing wrong, and if you listen to the judge and his character/being a pervert doesn't mean you are a murderer rap if he hadn't thrown it out under the very questionable search warrant excuse (the rules at the time of the event are suppose to the guideline, changes down the road are not retroactive)... if they had magically seen into the future and got a search warrant for the laptop he would have excluded the child as prejudicial.

Being a pervert doesn't mean you are murderer. He wasn't going to allow it anyway. LE did their job and did it well.

The warrant issue is a grey area. Let's be thankful the jury found him guilty on all counts without that evidence. That leaves less grounds for appeal.

Im glad with this decisions....don't give him the satisfaction, it would just be an opportunity for him to tell more lies...he had 3 years to speak up.....COWARD!

Did you ever watch the Changelling with Angelina Jolie? Based on a true story. The missing boy;s mom begged to see the killer to find out what happened and he only taunted her. That is based on a a true story.

I really think MR wanted to tell Tara either
a) that TLM did it
or
b) some descriptive details about the rape, just to torment her some more.

I would know he wasn't remorseful. I would know my child suffered and is buried. I would have heard the evidence. Nothing that said wanted to say would concern me in the least.

And yes I am a mom.

TLM confessed, cooperated, and provided the evidence that convicted him.
He forced a trial and maintains his innocence to this moment.
And they are both three years into a twenty five year before their first parole hearing sentence. That makes no sense to me.

I am thankful that she will not talk to him. And I hope that offer doesn't linger in her mind, days & weeks & months from now, wondering what he might have said... if he might have actually shed some light into the dark corners of the unknowns about Tori's final day... because that would be just one more thing to haunt her. So sorry for Tara.
