Oh, Puleeze!! You guys aren't really buying what LA is saying...are you?! I had to put on my hipwaders and get some mentholatum to cover the stench of not the car story...but to trudge through all of it!! What a bucket full of BS!!!!
Tell me more. What do you think he was lying about in the interview? I have found his demeanor flippant and odd since one of the first times I saw him interviewed on the news and I do not trust this guy but I kind of got the sense that he was much more honest during this interview than later on. I would love your perspective.

I have never felt before that anyone was responsible for Casey's actions except Casey ... no matter how she was raised ... I still feel that way ... but I will acknowledge that this family is toxic.

Pathetic, isn't it... LE cannot count on one member of the immediate family to tell them the truth. Not one.

It would be easier to pinpoint where I thought he was telling the truth!

What's with Lee and the laughing? :waitasec: Weird...

it's more difficult to assess the laughing in a transcript....i would have to hear the actual taped conversation, but i'm *guessing* it is more out of nervousness than humor.....maybe he wanted to be sure he was saying the right thing or he was emphasizing the point he thought was important.

the more i read this...
Lee mentions Casey's belongings were very well organized.
I really think she was trying get that CA guy to pay for her to fly out there. She was packing to take out. People pack that neatly cuz they have to fit everything they can for a trip.

Interesting. He really stressed the point. I thought he was suggesting TonE had been through it before he got there, had removed the cheque book and was possibly suggesting the missing receipts related to TonE?? I also find it interesting that IIRC, in TonE's first statement, he says he didn't know until LE told him, then in next statement says he spoke with Amy & Lee the night before, now, for the 1st time I'm hearing that Lee went over and got her stuff in the middle of the night. Things that make you go hmmmm.

Also, interesting that they don't ask TonE whether he's spoken to Casey since her arrest, and from the questions at the end, I formed the view he probably had, and had agreed to assist police in further conversations.

All is In My Opinion Only.

some things that stood out...

pg 53 you need to find your daughter - is GA a step dad?

.

it's a very common joke at my house. when my son does something wonderful he's mine and when he does something naughty, he's his father's son.

And then Lee goes on to describe the condition of KC's stuff at Tony's when he went to get it and says it was far too neat for her. That she's a slob who leaves stuff all over the floor, but her stuff was all packed in bags. It almost sounds like she was ready to skedaddle someplace else when her mom caught up with her.

Yep, she was planning to get the hell outta Dodge. She knew she couldn't put people off forever...guess she was "running out of options.":mad:

I'm with you although I do believe there were some family dynamics that allowed a creature such as casey to flourish. I don't think sociopaths are made in a total vacuum. But, many people come from strange backgrounds and don't hurt others, let alone their own children. So, casey alone is responsible. And I have never thought her family had anything to do with Caylee's disappearance or her death - I think they started to backtrack and cover for her once they realized what she was up against and how it may reflect on the image they want the world to have of their family.

And what really gets me is, what, CA and GA didn't think these documents would see the light of day? They're just out there spouting b.s. while KC is in jail AND at the bond hearing totally contradicting what they've said to LE and then contradicting themselves again and again in the media. What the h**ll ??? IN MY OPINION, OF COURSE.

Casey forcefully gives George the gas cans and says "here's your F-ing cans. That's not the story George told.

George ~ LIAR LIAR
So did Cindy in the Greta interview!!! LIAR LIAR :furious: :furious:

It would be easier to pinpoint where I thought he was telling the truth!
Okay, give me a few truths! LOL! Do you think he was lying to cover for casey, to prevent her from getting in trouble? I do think that's what this family has been doing, big time, but I can see some statements in LA interview that could be pretty damaging to casey, such as what CA said when she walked in the room "What have you done?" and the overpowering stench he can't stop talking about, and how he refutes the possibility that the smell came from squirrels, etc.

I'm sooo far behind here, but on pg 26/69 Lee says the officer swept in and picked up an ID that looked like the old style FL licenses.

From the beginning I thought she got the IN's name from a fake ID she had. She seemed like the type that would have one and people pick some of the strangest names....wonder who's ID it was.

There may be no "smoking gun" in these documents, but just based on the LA interview alone (and I read AL's as well), it just adds more to what I've already thought. This cold-hearted b*tch murdered that beautiful child to punish her mother and went on to pursue her "look at me, I'm a rockstar" life, or my name ain't TraceyLeigh. It is only in her subconcsience (sleep) that she ever even admits to herself what she has done. She is pure evil walking.

Yep, I know TraceyLeigh... what I found to be telling was on pge 13 and Cindy is telling Casey Who took her, We could have got her a month ago. Why would Cindy say that? She must have knew more about caylee being missing before that 911 call... its very interesting..

LE asks AH about Casey......

LE: Does she have a drug problem?
AH: "Um, I know she has started smoking more pot than she ever has. She would maybe eat a brownie here or there, or maybe smoke every once in a great while. Um but she did tell me that she'd been smoking a lot more pot. The reason was because all of this stuff was going on with her family and everything wasn't true".

Maybe cause her baby was missing?

Fox 35 has a judge, Andrew Napolitano (FOX senior judicial analyst) on their 5:30 newscast.

He says Attorney's Office can release any documents that they don't intend to present to a Grand Jury - so he believes that all of the missing pages are for the GJ.

You know, I think it could actually have been her mom's number, although I can certianly see casey having a guy or two on the side. But, when I first read that, I felt she wanted to know to go outside sop Tony would not hear her arguing with her mom or making up excuses about where Caylee was. That would have screwed things up for casey especially since she had been telling Tony (or his roommate) sometimes that the child was with CA. "What was that all about? You told us Caylee was with your mom? Why is she asking you where she is and why are you telling her Caylee's with the nanny when you told us Caylee was with your mom? What's going on here?" She wanted to avoid that. Special ring and she knew to go outside.

I definitely thought that as well, but was wondering if maybe she had the "special ring tone" for ALL calls that had to be taken outside of Tony's presence. JAT....

I'm reading Lee's and am just aghast. As others have said, no smoking gun here, but just what we all thought. Maybe a little worse than we thought....

Wow, Cindy KNEW when she came in the room with LA and Casey what had happened. She put 2 and 2 together. "What have you done?" Thats a damning question. So much truth is revealed right there. Cindy knew, now she refuses to believe. So sad.
Yea...I never bought that "I waited in the garage" story. Knowing CA the way we do know (from WS perspective), there's no way she would have been able to hold herself back from listening.
