I also think HLN's 10pm show is bogus. They are truly capitalizing on Travis' murder for ratings. As for Nancy Grace, she lost all credibility with me with the Duke Lacrosse case. She will need botox soon, for all her deep furrows from her "angry" look. Wasn't she disbarred or somethind? No need to answer, it's totally off topic. NG gets on my nerves. I have great respect for Beth K. She is objective & factual. No histrionics.

No, Nancy Grace was not disbarred. There was an appellate case where the court criticized her behavior in court. When you try a lot of cases, and when you are passionate, that could happen. It's happened to Kelly Seigler too. I happen to love Nancy Grace. You have to understand that she is playing a role, just like Jinkasaurus. Beth Karas is the straight man (woman).

I read on twitter that the ribbons #1Aunt & #1Mom are wearing represent domestic violence victims. Just think how this confuses the jury. DV victims are outraged that the JA supporters are wearing the ribbons.

Good morning everyone! Looking forward to observations today .... I want to say that I did not think I could have more distaste for anyone than CA however it has happened. I used to think that JA was crazy like a fox yet over the past few days I feel physically ill when seeing her and have a horrible feeling of how truly evil she is. I won't go into tons of details but I wanted to express how truly morbid I think this woman is. I do believe that all people have a sixth sense, and I am 100% confident that more than one juror has felt what I am feeling. If I were on this jury I would never cave to a lessor charge nothing less then 1st degree. I would hang the jury before I would cave... I would love to hear observers opinions on this, and if there is an aura ( lack of better words ) absolute evil when in her presence..... Have jaunderful day all!

I personally hope she has a meltdown right in the middle of the trial so we can all see it. Im sure, however, it will be premeditated to continue to try and get sympathy on her behalf. I would like her to "snap" and really show her out of control emotions. :floorlaugh:

I don't think so. NG was showing different people who had to be gagged at their trials Lol. If a meltdown or outbursts caused a mistrial.... We'd see them all the time!

I don't know but my answer would be that she loves her daughter, but she is sorry for Travis' family. Supporting her daughter doesn't mean thinking her daughter is right or justified. Jodi is her trial. I wish they'd make ribbons for her poor mother, who has to continue to be Jodi's mother no matter if her child committed a heinous crime.

From what I've observed Jodi's mom or aunt haven't shown any sympathy for Travis's family. When you feel sorry for someone you don't roll your eyes and snicker at them much less when they are bawling their eyes out.

And, IMO, there are no excuses to explain why Jodi's family are wearing the DV ribbons. They're both adults with free will and no one is sticking a gun to their head to force them to wear those ribbons. Some claim that they're victims too but I'm not buying it. At what point since Jodi murdered Travis have any of them refused to contribute or participate in assisting Jodi's behavior? When Sandy was running around securing a getaway vehicle for Jodi? What about reporting that Jodi was preparing to flee, had a gun and knife in her possession, or details of Jodi's activities, behavior and discussions? Sure she's Jodi's mom but loving your child doesn't mean it's ok to enable behavior that is illegal, immoral, unethical and criminal. There are no excusable or justifiable explanations to defend Sandy's participation in attempting to sell those forged letters that portray Travis as a pedophile. IMO, when Sandy tried to sell those letters she was victimizing Travis AND his family. Hadn't his family and him suffered enough without trying to portray him as a pedophile? Sure I haven't been in Sandy's shoes but I don't need to in order to know how I would behave. My 3 kids aren't perfect and my two sons have severe ADHD and many times it would have been so much simpler and easier to have enabled their behaviors bc it would have made my life so much easier. But, I felt one of my greatest responsibilities was to hold them and their behaviors and choices accountable legally and morally. I'm not privy to what it was like raising Jodi but there is nothing, IMO, that justifies Sandy's enabling and passive aggressive behavior and makes me wonder if/how she contributed into Jodi developing into a full blown sociopath.

I really have no idea on that! I didn't even see that until someone sent me the youtube of it myself. I was more thinking she was showing him something she'd written herself in her own notes? She sure seemed ticked off to me and I didn't get the feeling she was too jazzed about ALV. A whole day without discussing her? That had to just kill her/give her a fauxgraine. My new word.

After reading about others triggering by the testimony of ALV and my sister and I doing the same, it made me wonder if the defense was trying to send the message that Jodi became sick having to "relive" her tramatic events.

I personally think the DT didn't want Juan up before the long weekend.

totally agree with you. If she does have meltdown in court, it will be premeditated and when the jury is present. As you said, so the whole thing will start over again with a new jury. Something to watch for.

How she acts in court is not grounds for a mistrial? Some inmates have to be restrained to face trial or are removed from the courtroom and watch on closed circuit TV because of their actions. The trial still goes forward and her actions will not stop the trial completely. jmo

I believe Jodi's mother did sell copies of those letter to The Enquirer. They stated they would not publish them until after the trial because defense withdrew them when the State claimed they were forged. Just because we have not seen them does not mean SA did not get paid. jmo
