ALV is pathetic...I wonder if she was a victim of Domestic Violence and why she switched to the other side? (Can I say that?)The darn dwarfs ask me questions that I don't know the answers to.To say that "Travis Alexander was the worst case of abuse she'd ever seen." ?? That is laughable if it wasn't so very sad for TA family to have to sit in court and hear that coming out of ALV'S mouth and then she had the gall to approach TA'S sister? What could she possibly say...? :banghead:

I know she said "Its not personal" to TAs' sister.

:python: Hmmm, that's kind of unsanitary. :what:

I wonder how the legitimate victims of Domestic Violence who've actually been beaten up, hospitalized, ruined financially, terrorized etc feel about her testimony that Travis Alexander was the worst case of abuse she'd ever seen.

She's really gone off the deep end for this sociopath.

Why? Why? Why?

I'd love it if Juan would end his cross with one final ( admittedly objectionable) question:

Was all this worth it for you?

The worst case she's ever seen? I cannot see how she lost her mind far enough to say that. Was she never called out to the E.R. to be with a victim so battered and swollen you can't recognize them? Did she never have the police bring in a 15 year old who gave birth 3 days prior but was now being forced to have sex with her abuser again so the neighbors kept calling? Did she never help a man get a TRO after he'd had boiling water poured on his head, and when he ran from the house the abuser ran him down with a car?

I could go on for days with the parade of horrors that I keep seeing in my memory now. I am shaking! I really am! Worst case?!!! :what:

What a low down evil <unusual person>! :furious: She MADE it personal against Travis, a man she never met and is not worthy of meeting. She and JA are just alike.

Now I hope she has to PAY. :furious:

This deserves to be read again! Sad but true. I think you should email this to her. I believe she has convinced herself that what she is saying is the truth. I hope this weekend is sobering to her....from what I understand the symposium or whatever she was talking at yesterday cancelled her speech due to the overwhelming volume of upset callers. Maybe she will realize what she has done has far more devastating repercussions that just turning a killer loose. Great post!

Renee,
ITA with Nezumi's post. I think she should cool and post it to the other threads and send to NG as well. I would do it but don't know how. This was an excellent post. Thanks.

You know even though I didn't ask and didnt hear it, my impression was she said something like that. Like "don't take this personally" and if that's right, she's even more clueless and self absorbed than her testimony in this trial makes her.

But yes I do think it was something of that nature (or maybe you know what was said).

Let's just be careful not getting in to the telephone game here...I think maybe Berry is suspecting she said that but don't think anyone knows what was said. Just don't want to start something as fact that's just a hunch. :seeya:

I also had a Brother with similar issues ...he passed away this last year, not from the Mental Issues but suffered with them for many years... When I read the love KCL feels for her brother, I think of mine, who was also Artistic, and I'm sure she feels as I always did..."He Ain't Heavy, He's My Brother"...

What does anything he said to other women have to do with Jodi. Jodi admits they broke up in June 2007? All we've heard from Travis' friends is that she was never his official girlfriend. He was obviously interested in her and was pursuing her but we have never heard from Travis' friends that she was to be treated like is girlfriend. We already know from descriptions of Travis from his friends that he was a flirt and had gone out with a lot of women so why is ALV making this sound like Jodi is a victim because she imagined there was more to the relationship than was actually there. Just because he was kind to her and generous does not mean he planned to marry her.

Jodi never stops to think she was the third wheel. If he was happy with her, wanted to marry her he would have never been openly dating other women. This was not something he was hiding. He never pursued her in California, never chased her. Cell records show it was Jodi who constantly called Travis. In the end I do think he feared her and was trying to gently push her away.

Does anyone think it is strange that some of the text messages seem to be missing parts, as if in what started this round of outbursts in the first place?
I specifically remember Nurmi emphasizing with JA that church members "are encouraged to date a lot" as an explanation of why she was texting and sexting multiple men etc. Apparently the defense team doesn't think that goes for TA too.

She has always had shoes on when I've seen her out getting water, going to the bathroom etc.

That's the first I've heard of it.

She bashed Travis and then approached his sister. Isnt that abuse?

It certainly is in my book.

I'm beginning to think her "expert in abuse" title is an expert in abusing people. MOO

I don't think the woman knows what real abuse is. Mental or physical.

I'm so sorry you've witnessed or been subjected to such awful abuse.:hug::hug:

I think there was WAAAAY more to it than Jodi making up some woman who allegedly came into the restaurant to tell her that Travis was dating Lisa. WAAAY more. He knew something about her and he was going to expose her because she had played too many games with him. He wouldn't have gotten that angry about her knowing about Lisa. She knew about Lisa because she followed him, hacked into his accounts, slashed their tires, and who knows what else. Did she steal some money from him? Did she do something even worse? She did SOMETHING, and he was calling her bluff on her stupid lies. He was going to tell other people what he knew about what Jodi did if she didn't come clean. She was playing him like a fiddle and, no doubt, enjoyed the drama.

Sometimes it's not WHAT a person is saying so much as HOW they are saying it. Text messages won't necessarily convey that, but Travis knew that her ostensible calmness and attempts to soothe him were only surface words that were loaded full barrel at his buttons. HE knew HOW she was saying (or NOT saying) things, without needing to hear it out loud. Her games wouldn't be as apparent to someone who didn't know BOTH of them and how they interacted with each other.

Does anyone else think it's odd that Jodi now has two stories of "concerned people" coming into a restaurant that she's working in to tell her that the men she's dating are cheating on her? (Matt and Travis) What are the odds of that happening to anyone, especially someone who has "supposedly" worked at the number of places (some fictional) as she has.

Hey Kcl, Pasa, My3Sons, wser's etal :loveyou: Happy Sunday everyone! I have a question for the Observers.
Judge Stephens sometimes appears via TV to be confused about certain objections as well as ruling on them. A bit timid maybe is what I am trying to say. I noticed Thursday she overuled many if not most of JW objections when Jaun was questioning, I have also heard that she sort of yuks it up with JW during sidebars. Could you give us some insight as to her true demeanor in the courtroom, as we don't get to see much of her, usuall split screen of the killer and witness or JW spilt with the killer. Thanks in Advance:doorhide:
