It affects everyone differently, after years of it, you are conditoned. All depends on your background too, I believe. Some woman dont' feel they are worthy of anything better.

i have never understood this argument. a woman is so beat down she can not leave but has the strength to plot cold blooded murder. if she felt she was so worthless that she deserved the treatment she got she would not need to kill him for it.

I agree Paladin...no one should be poisoned....that just isn't right. However, can I say I don't feel sorry for him???? Technically, it isn't the same thing...
BTW....The guy was lucky, IMO...he could have been married to Lorena Bobbitt!!!
