The only way to advance this case is to go around the DA and Chief of Police and Ramsey lawyer and explain it to the public:

John and Burke would be off the hook and Ramsey lawyer would be irrelevant.

Of course that would leave the Boulder DA's office open for scrutiny so the limbo that the case is in protects the Boulder DA's office.

The end run is the only way.
