Since "pretty girls" don't get the death penalty, do you think Jodi will change her looks for this portion of the trial? Maybe I'm crazy, but I think I would find it harder to give the death penalty to a normal looking person. When she slicks her hair down to her head, gets her fringe going on, (those bangs) wears those big ugly glasses, dresses like a frump, and gets that creepy look on her face, I want to give her the injection myself. I know she's faking her looks. She was very attractive before she murdered Travis. Her looks (the way she looks in court) is nothing but more of her lies. Whether she needs glasses or not.....you have to admit she picked out the ugliest frames she could find. And if she had access to lip gloss for her interview, there's no reason she can't wear it to court. She tried the plain jane look for sympathy, and it didn't work. I'm sure that was JW's idea. Looking forward to seeing if she disregards her advice and frocks up tomorrow.

I was looking through the death row profiles and there are plenty of good-looking women on death row! If JA wants to get pretty again then she better start gobbling up some good food but since nothing ever goes her way all the fat will go to her stomach and waist rather than her gaunt face. :floorlaugh:

He's a reporter for pete's sake, not a social worker or censor.

While I agree a lot of that stuff was offensive, the choice is not to watch it, not demand people censor the news so it's pure pablum.

The jury has not seen or heard it. Give them some credit.

Jodi's hanging herself. It's not the job of a reporter to stop her.

well for pete's sake...there is a thing called responsible reporting as well.

Tomorrow surely will be very interesting indeed. Will she wear glasses? wear make-up? Hmmmmm She thought all this out well. Probably don't listen to JW anymore. Will do her own thing. Hurry tomorrow!!!! Can't wait!

Angela is seeking attention?
I don't see it.
The Arias' have very carefully avoided the media.

What was posted on the Justice site was snatched from a JA support site that I've heard is private. I have read the Justice site often but I'm not too keen on them hovering on the JA site and then snatching and posting entries from there. They need to keep it clean, the very thing they complain about JA not doing. I guess they are getting caught up in the social media fray. Also, they are in an online battle with a site that is called Boycott The Justice.... I swear sometimes people look like kids...and not good ones. IMO

My take on Dan Broderick was that he developed a plan of action with Betty that involved trying to get her to behave better (not leave threatening messages or call people names, including the kids). You can say he was controlling or even manipulative, and there's an argument to be made for that. My own opinion is that he tried something that didn't work, but nevertheless kept doing the same thing over and over. It was not helpful to the situation. In the end, though, I'm not sure there was anything he could do.

Regardless of anything else, it was not legal at all for him to withold alimony & child support because she swore. IIRC, he implemented that carp on his own, not via the courts. He was that arrogant. So he "tried something that didn't work" to me means he tried illegal means and got away with it. Til Betty shot him. Imagine your reaction if your ex-husband decided to punish you financially because he didn't like your language. You don't even have to be borderline for that carp to get really old, really fast.

"That's" the guy I'm talking about, a real donkey's behind and given who he was dealing with and how he never paid the price for any of his actions (until the end), I'm not surprised he ended up dead.

I don't believe he ever consulted a therapist on how to deal with Betty and for that his children paid the ultimate price. He would have screamed it wasn't his job to take care of Betty, to deal with her in a manner meant not to antagonize, but he could have quit being so selfish and arrogant and saved his kids from being figurative orphans.

that's always been a tough case for me, she was mean and crazy and a killer, but Dan and his wife encouraged a hell of a lot of drama so it could be at Betty's expense.

I can't think of any reporter who would have turned down that interview with Jodi minutes after her conviction. I also think editing out the offensive parts would have been doing HER a favor. Let her hang herself with her own words.

Haven't had time to read and I am really far behind. I found JA's fox interview in it's entireity. Sorry if it has been posted before, but it was new to me ~ and hopefully someone will find it note worthy :giggle:

Oh yeah, I saw that Nymeria and I was extremely creeped out by it. It's like she watched all the time and followed him everywhere. I wonder how often he'd go out and Jodi was there and he never knew about it.

If you guys wanna see the creepy picture, here it is:

LOL no wonder I could not find it, I was looking on DD's show, not NG!
Maybe I need a timeout from this stuff  I am on overload.
Anyhoo, yet again- :gthanks:

Well if she truly is tweeting again that all money can go to her commissary account then she does not want to die.....she wants those cards and letters and money coming on in...........gah I cannot stand her!:banghead::banghead:

Interesting information - thanks! I wonder if Arias understands that the appeal process doesn't mean that she gets a roomful of fresh faces to manipulate but that a bunch of legal scholars are going to read transcripts? The way she's behaving with the media she seems not to get it.

Now that's an understatement!

Seems like Einstein does not understand a lot of things...

as in when to shut your trap...

or the importance of showing humility and contrition in the face of the death penalty...

Oh please God give Jodi the most disagreeable set of Justices you have I want the witch to burn.

I see nothing irresponsible about what that reporter did. While this is not a popular opinion here, it is no reporter's job to make sure the Alexander family is not faced with any bad news. It really isn't.

this reporter didn't lie about his sources, didn't pay for the interview, didn't do anything that would violate journalistic ethics (and that's not a very long list) so to call him irresponsible is wrong and not accurate. "Irresponsibility" is not, as far as I know, defined by what individuals find likable.

Unless you know something I don't about what he did.

I don't know what you do for a living, but the day people trash you incessently for doing it, jsust becaaue it might offend someone down the street, I'd be interested to hear how fair you think that is.

How many times have you watched that interview?
