Aggravated waiting for the aggravation phase #6

When you care for someone with dementia, almost any time away sounds good. It just goes with the territory. When I can, I'll go back to work again and dig my butt out my debt. But right now, it's much more important to me to keep Mom in her own home with her pets. But we have very little respite care available, so it's a full time 24/7 job taking care of someone who really isn't the same person. It's almost like caring for someone who is just occupying her body.

My sister has it too and it is so sad. She has forgotten all her words and our names. Our mother is 18 years older than my sister and she is just showing signs of dementia. It is so very sad.

This would make a great parody clip for the tube! Who's got an NG wig and a will to play her in this post verdict interview skit?:floorlaugh:
you'll be a star. :please:
:takeabow:

Some people may feel that way but he does tend to get re-elected over & over again..

I live in Phoenix and I've seen both sides of the coin on this and I'll just leave it at that.[/QUOTE

He might have his faults but at least he has common sense which seems to be lacking these days in the world at large. Prison/jail is supposed to be a punishment not a picnic.

Maybe tid-bits, but it would be based on the ninja story. I wonder if there will be a time limit for each VIS? I just wanna see someone pull a Jeffrey Dahmer type VIS on her.

Warning strong language.

I know it won't happen, but one can wish ;)

dang I wish the deputies had allowed her just one punch anyway. No we won't see anything like this. But wouldn't it be nice if they could say exactly what they want to and not be restricted.....that just suxks IMO

If CFJA visible in the video of the Memorial service? I have hesitated watching it. I just wanted to know what her expression was if she was visible. TIA

It's been on HLN a couple times today and I didn't see her. But one thing that really burned my britches was when HLN put a ticker on the screen.

REMEMBERING JODI instead of REMEMBERING TRAVIS

It took them a couple of seconds to take it down, but wonder if anyone else caught it.

Grrrrrr.....

All the different eyeglasses..........:floorlaugh::floorlaugh:

I broke my glasses this morning and had to make an emergency run to Lenscrafters. Just for the helluvit, I tried on a pair of "Jodi glasses," the heavier frames, tortoiseshell, or whatever they are. I looked so bad the lady there was giving me this very odd look, like "why would you even think of wearing those?" I'm like, "Do you know anything about the Jodi Arias trial?" :drumroll:

I thought I saw her sitting in the last row visible on the tape. Last row meaning the last on what was taped. The hair was the giveaway. I never saw her face.

I keep telling people, if they could see how DESPAIRING the folks over on the "innocent" site are about that interview, they'd want it played 24/7 on every news station in the country.

Could you give more details? I don't want to visit that site.

The "prison industry". $$$ I heard about this a few years ago. Freaking scary. There was one story, I think from Texas, about how one judge was bribed by a private prison owner (I know I am getting the titles wrong) to send minors to some kind of detention facility/prison for rather minor, non-violent offenses. The judge got kick-backs from the prison owner.

I believe that case was in Pennsylvania. Many, many sad stories came out about that, including at least one kid who committed suicide after he got out.

While we are waiting.....does anyone know how to make the font bigger on this site using firefox?? tia and please help

OMG...so sad, and shocking....I don't even know how to react to it? It almost makes me want to laugh as if its a SNL skit or something. But of course it's not, and the impact he had on so many families was/is devastating!

Didn't he get killed shortly after being sentenced???

I wish she would just say.. I am so sorry. I did this. I was wrong.. I can not believe what I did,... "

Something that makes her seem human. The fact that she could do something like this without remorse, means to me she will always be dangerous.

I can not wait for this to all be over.

If you watched a DV survivor who killed their abuser interviewed you usually see sorrow, remorse, sadness, tears, guilt and horror at the crime they committed. Unless the person was horribly abused for decades and then they
are numb and in shock and probably did have PTSD due to the extreme abuse.

Jodi dated Travis for 5 months and became a bootie call for about a year after that. Her choice.

She has been in jail for almost 5 years and has come in contact with many REAL domestic violence inmates. They tell their story to her and she latches on the details, emotions and every tiny piece of information she can use in her trial. The emotion thing comes across odd since she cannot cry or show real emotion like the rest of the world. Unless, like Travis said, she only cries
for herself.

She is not human. :scared:

Did she and Darrel live in the California desert? I didn't think he lived in Arizona.

She explained the gas cans when on the stand by saying when she lived with Darrel and they would have to drive any length in the desert that they would put gas cans in the trunk just in case. Which is one of her reasons for taking them along.
Side note-I believe they lived in Palm Desert, though I have no clue if that is actually anywhere near a desert.

Jodi is not stupid. Unfortunately for Jodi her downfall is her overwhelming compulsion to propagate her lies and venom about Travis and his family. I think on some level she knows her behavior isn't beneficial to her case but she simply can't control herself.

She is far from stupid. She's a very good manipulator and architect to getting what she wants. It's her compulsions to control that gets her every time.

Every time I see someone say JA is smart, or not stupid, I cringe (nothing personal JSR - you are one of the smartest posters I know). I think she has a level of intelligence, but she is so messed up that it seems useless. She is crafty, not in a good way, and manipulative. So, I can't see her as smart. She has her base of knowledge- and the ability to learn - to use against people and to get her way in life. If she were truly smart, she would use her ability for good, not evil.
