Alex Inga is mentioned in the circumstances of these three men missing in a plane on Dec 11 1974: https://www.websleuths.com/forums/s...arr-23-amp-Frank-Rodman-25-Kodiak-11-Dec-1974

Robert Hall II's Circumstances say: "Victim of Grumman Goose plane crash in water near Cape Chiniak. Also missing are Larry Carr, Frank Rodman and Alex Inga."

The other two NAMUS files specify Alex Inga Sr.
I'm not sure why only one Alex is mentioned and why they make it sound like he was on the plane witht he other men. Do they think the plane hit the skiff?

Thank you for finding that Coffee. So they had found Alex Inga Sr's body and were transporting it when the plane went down and disappeared too. That makes sense. How very tragic. :(

A very unforgiving place. I think many of Alaska's missing stay missing.

I agree. It's such a vast wilderness and I imagine that the weather is not favorable for searching much of the year. It will probably take someone stumbling upon the crash by accident. :(

The specific flight that crashed was Kodiak Western Airlines Flight 91; I haven't been able to find much info about it online. Larry Carr and Frank Rodman were the two Alaska state troopers who recovered the body of Alex Inga Sr. I'm assuming that Robert Hall was the pilot. This article mentions that the plane also had two passengers who were lost as well but I haven't been able to find their names and I don't think they have NamUs entries.

I wonder if any of them have DNA on file, because Alaska has a lot of random unidentified individual human bones found washed up on shore that could possibly be any one of these people.
