Wonder when she left AVAIL...

That's what I'd like to know, too. So she went to 3 high schools. AVAIL is an alternative high school. There could be any given reason for how she ended up there. I'd like to know what year in hs she was before going to AVAIL. Her father said she wanted to be a veterinarian or go into the Navy. Wonder what held her up. Wonder what made her leave AVAIL?

"I'm going to offer free self defense classes for women, men and children," said Phillana Dobbs-Sager, Martial Arts Teacher for Southside Kickboxing.
classes are being offered next week, Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
4:30p.m. to 5:30p.m for teen ages and younger and 5:30p.m. to 6:30p.m for adults.
The martial arts teacher says she is inclined to help, because of something she claims she saw.
"I did witness the same gentleman and the gentleman had the girl in a choke hold walking down Tudor Road."
Whether or not the claim has anything to do with Koenig's case remains to be seen.

The most you might possibly glean from that is that JK made an allegation and petitioned for a restraining order. But the petition was denied. This does not mean that PS did anything at all.

So, Sam's dad petitioned the court for a protective order becasue he accussed this woman of stalking, and it was denied. He is definitely not afraid of the court system, he's been in small claims court tons of times, I saw. I think she might be some sort of attention-seeker. I saw her mentioned before saying she saw a man walking down Tudor Rd. with a girl in a chokehold, but since nothing ever seems to have come of it, I have to assume it was unsubstantiated.

I'm not sure about AVAIL but I went to a school just like this one in Anchorage:

What I do know about Benny Benson is that there are strict guidelines:

The school’s attendance policy is modeled after leave policies used in the workplace.
Students have a maximum of three (3) days of leave to use for illness or doctor,
counselor, or personal appointments during any ratings period. In addition, three tardies
of less than 15 minutes, or one tardy of more than 15 minutes counts as one full day of
leave.

Benny Benson students are required to earn a minimum of 85 points per ratings period.
Failure to meet the minimum standard more than once during the school year may result
in the student’s withdrawal from the SAVE II program

Those are only 2 of the rules. It could be she missed school or didn't keep up with homework.

Personally I went to a alternative school because I had to repeat 2 grades. 5th because my mom had thyroid cancer and we had to move to Michigan for a year. 7th because there was a murder at our house and I missed finals and lots of school. This school allowed me to catch up and graduate on time. It could be a number of reason why she was there and why she left. I too would like to know.

Frim what I gather, she showed up at the vigil & started handing out fliers to anyone & everyone, saying something about not being a victim & she'll teach self defense for free. I'd give her kudos if she handled it a different way, like maybe asked James' permission or APD's permission, before dispelling fear. I mean, Samantha knows karate & is an ace at shooting a gun, so maybe she was just overcome. Who knows. She might not have come across a good way, and might not have taken no for an answer, which could explain why James filed a complaint.

Here's what I think:

I think that if this lady witnessed a man walking with a young lady that he had in a choke hold on the night that Samantha went missing, AND THIS LADY DID NOTHING TO HELP THE YOUNG LADY, then she'd be the absolute last person on earth I'd want teaching a self defense class. No respect.

It is typically not very difficult to get one of these protective orders. So my guess is that whatever activity he was alleging on her part, even if completely true, simply didn't rise to the level of "stalking".

I know & it's uncalled for the way it was said. If it's true, and if she seriously thought it was odd, then I'm assuming she called the cops? Then again, she's screaming mad at how her sOn is being scrutinized, and he's upset that his "name is being tarnished"...BUT HE HAS PICS ON HIS PB SHOWING A BIG ROLLED FATTY! I just can't understand how he's concerned about what people think when he has a freaken BLUNT in his hands on his PB!

Anyone with half a brain would recognize how self-serving her words are, not to mention saying it on a page that she knows is being looked at by the public. Maybe she wants that "other forum" (named by her in a post) to start looking at Dwayne as a suspect? :waitasec:

There was another stalking order of protection filed against PS by a person with the initials of RR the same day as the one filed by JK, that case was also closed.

Then PS filed a stalking protection order against RR, that case is still open.

Just a thought. She is in the midst of a divorce, the filing was recently reopened, have no idea why. Perhaps a few financial issues as well. Could be a way to profit her business, not just out of concern for the safety of others.

Sam's Father would obviously resent someone using his daughter and her tragic circumstances as a way to make money.

Dwayne is SK's boyfriend. He was supposed to pick her up that night, but got delayed.
