THIS IS ALL JUST MY OPINION :
I can't shake the feeling that IK isn't the one that took Sam from the hut.
I've thought from the beginning that whomever took Sam was 'hired' to take her and pass her off to someone else and that the kidnapping was personal. There is a lot more then one person involved in Sam's disappearing IMO.
Police wording has been careful "This is a step toward that goal, a big step." and "Main person of interest". and they stated the tape had nothing to do with identifying him. (because it's not him on the tape ????)
They are ONLY saying there was enough evidence in IK's vehicle to "link" him to SK. Which could easily mean credit card ONLY. Which could come into ones possession in a variety of ways.

"His neighbors on Spurr Lane said Keyes had moved there about two years ago, and lived in the quiet, blue-painted house with his girlfriend and a young child. They said he had been on vacation "out of state" for some time."
This makes me really wonder. Neighbors say that IK has been out of state on vacation for "some time". Why was he vacationing for "some time" ? I'm guessing since his contractor license was expired he wasn't working .... at least not legitimately. So what was he doing in Anchorage?
No priors that anyone can find, a seemingly legit Army and work history...... and he just suddenly decides to kidnap with force a young barista, do gosh knows what with her (possibly kill her? ) , then run back off to TX and use her credit cards? Some criminals are stupid, but this guy was in the Army. He'd know better then to use her credit cards after committing a crime related to her.
There's A LOT more to this. And I think we'll see that IK isn't the "main" person of interest at all. I'm guessing he has no flippin' clue where Sam is, and very possibly hasn't even seen her.
