What is that on his lips in pic, cold sores? speculation.
Aniah Blanchard kidnapping suspect receiving death threats in jail, attorney says
"MONTGOMERY, Ala. (WSFA) - The attorney for Ibraheem Yazeed, the suspect in the disappearance of Aniah Blanchard, says Yazeed has received death threats in the Lee County Jail and was moved to solitary confinement for his security.

Attorney Elijah Beaver filed a motion Thursday asking the judge to reconsider Yazeed’s bond.

The motion states denying bond for Yazeed, who is charged with first-degree kidnapping, constitutes a due process violation. Beaver states Yazeed was not offered an opportunity to respond to the state’s motion, and the court granted the motion without a hearing or examining any evidence.

The motion also claims the state’s allegation that Yazeed has “an extensive history of violent criminal offenses” is false, saying Yazeed’s criminal record contains no convictions for any violent charge at all."
I doubt in Lee County he is going to receive bond regardless of what his attorney is grasping for especially since he was already out on bond for a violent crime and his court history.

I grew up in that area and i know those folks there are strict about future perception and setting a tone.

I was in a situation when I was in college and got in trouble for a low level misdemeanor on my way down hwy 280 one night. I will never forget my lawyer telling me if i was 5 miles east I would be looking at a much stiffer penalty for something that was really "boys being boys". He told me that he didnt know what angel sat on my shoulder just below my empty head, but I needed to give thanks to the Lord above that I didnt cross that political line on the map or other wise Id be in paying money I wouldnt have had at that time by a long shot, name in the papers, and pushed for a penalty that would cost me at max 12 months.

IY is going to realize he isnt in Montgomery where the crap he's pulled in past is going to net the same result. Lee County just doesnt have that kind of crime around there and they are looking for a cause to make a clear example to the county, state and to the USA that they have a zero tolerance with kid napping especially a kid napper who is currently on bond for the exact same thing. i would expect his lawyer to split once this preliminary hearing is over.

Is it legal to administer a polygraph test even though it’s not allowed to be used as evidence?
Yes it’s legal to do so but what’s the purpose exactly, as you stated you know it’s inadmissible in court.

Is it possible that IY is repeatedly thrown out there as the fall guy, knowing there won’t be much/any hard evidence and he’ll walk while someone else does the real crime? Could he have been sent into the Chevron specifically to get his face on camera, and then an accomplice actually abducted/assaulted her? Hoping it’s not that complicated, but this is a LOT of crimes to just walk away from.
Everyone involved in this should get the death penalty.
Maybe the fact that he violated his last probation will keep him from getting bail. "I was running from the law" shouldn't be an acceptable excuse.

Where is she? I feel he is the muscle, but not the brains behind this. Someone else is behind this. He did it,but someone smarter than IY set this in motion. As an IQ test ever been done on IY? I think it would score low. I in know way excuse his acctions. A low IQ only shows he should have been stopped sooner.

Can you explain how you’ve come to the conclusion that a low IQ means he should have been stopped sooner?

Keep in mind, he’s been ACCUSED of committing crimes and as his lawyer competently pointed out, there’s not enough evidence for a trial to even happen that he actually committed those crimes.

I think this thread needs to remember that when tying him to old accusations and using them as some correlative presumption of guilt in this matter. It very well may be that HE was the unlucky one in the wrong place at the wrong time. His previous accusations made him a prime suspect in a crime he didn’t commit. It’s possible. I remember on the Mollie Tibbits case, the farmer, Wayne I think, everybody knew he was guilty... until he wasn’t.

Walt fights in the ufc, but I promise 9/10 people who watch the ufc don’t know who he is.
It’s more likely that people in their area know of her father, who I believe was labeled a “local businessman”

Aniah's Dad has a business in the Birmingham area. I doubt anyone in Auburn or Montgomery knew him or his business before the kidnapping.

I think a lot hinges on the witness who saw Yazeed forcing Aniah into her own vehicle. Potentially leading to a circumstantial case against him.

I don't know that his IQ is so low. If he is guilty of this crime, he managed to achieve 30+ hours to potentially get rid of a lot of evidence. Possibly his clothes, his shoes, his fingerprints, his DNA ... and definitely Aniah (at least, so far).

Not to mention, he is a huge flight risk. They already had to chase him to Pensacola to arrest him.

His involvement in the last kidnapping case seems to be much more than an accusation, except in the legal definition. Maybe the police that arrested him just made it all up. He was out on probation because the prisons are overcrowded and he bumped his head when he was young, and because his gang bailed him out.

Don't forget that we do not know what evidence LE has, but I doubt they have arrested an innocent man. He is a career criminal. He has no job, but has enough money to live in an apartment. He gets cash from somewhere. There's no telling what kind of illegal activities he is involved in besides those for which he has been convicted.
This guy is nothing like the pig farmer, who was really just a stab in the dark by police. They had no real leads or evidence in Mollie's disappearance at that time.
LE in Aniah's case have had quite a lot to go on, and they did not just decide to pick on IY for no reason. They had enough evidence to get an arrest warrant and keep him in jail.
Also, he hasn't been to trial yet for the kidnapping and beating of the 77 year old. I'd bet the pig farm that the DA has plenty of evidence to present in that case.

IMO he is safer in jail than on the streets. I can see some of the ufc fighters teaming up and killing him underground

Lawyers...1)Hello you’re client jumped bail and crossed state lines. He was running! Innocent people don’t run. That alone can keep him jailed. His Bond was revoked! He’s proven to be a huge flight risk. No violation there. 2) if he is in fact getting death threats he’s safer locked up then on the streets. IMO

No. And if you can see this, your glasses aren’t strong enough.

There are a lot of bad seeds in MMA, but they usually end up arrested rather quickly (The guy who beat the 🤬🤬🤬🤬 star).

Otherwise, they are disciplined, focused and will support Walt in any way possible, but not that way.

Correct, we do not know what evidence is had, and if you’re asking for a personal opinion, I’d say he’s definitely involved but that isn’t the way the system works, and be glad it’s not, and his previous charges won’t matter in this case as he hasn’t been to trial for them, due to a lack of evidence.

I hope this isn’t misconstrued as any type of support for this guy, again my personal opinion is you can look at him and tell two things: he’s evil and he’s low IQ (easily pushed into crime, which is probably why the masterminds like to use him). He’s akin to a dog in that manner, he acts with the sole purpose of pleasing his master.

I have no doubt that her stepfather has fantasized about destroying IY with his bare hands (and frankly, I’d like to see that as well), but Aniah’s whole family seem to be beyond reproach despite the horrible circumstances they’re facing.

Personally I think I’d IY was released, someone would take him out. Whether it be family or just someone who doesn’t believe in those type of crimes..

I’ve seen mixed things about sharing things from this person, especially more recently. Someone please let me know if this is against the rules, but here is a news article that includes both her name and her tweet.

Auburn PD Searching for Missing 19 Year Old
Aniah’s friend Summer said, ”my best friend has been missing since Tuesday. She was going to meet a guy named Eric she met from a dating app.”
Does anyone know how she came to have this information? This reference to Eric here (and in the text to the roommate) has always bothered me. I know Summer later retracted her statement but something just seems off about it. I’m not saying that Summer was involved in the kidnapping but I wonder how she knew about “Eric” and why mention a dating app? did she just hear about the text to the roommate and embellish it a bit with the whole dating app thing or did she have prior knowledge about this?
There is something very troubling about the whole text to the roommate as many have said. I can’t quite put my finger on it but it simply doesn’t ring true. MOO

It makes no sense at all, to me.

Aniah's brother lives 10-12 mins away from the Chevron (al.com named the street where he lives in an article I read yesterday, and I googled the distance).

If Aniah dropped him off at 11-ish, and paid for chips at the Chevron at 11:20 ... where and how does Eric get into the picture?

Those messages on snap spread like wild fire. And then others start spreading More inaccurate info. It’s like a game of telephone.
A gun went off in my girls school last year and within seconds every student got the message over snap and by the end of the day it was amazing how many different stories came out of that and over snap.
Here’s the thing. If Aniah did communicate with an Eric over some dating app LE and her parents would have that info from the app company. That’s how David Eisenhauer was connected to the death of Nicole Lovell. It’s all traceable.
And just because they don’t have her phone doesn’t mean they can’t access her account(s). My girls have friends who get their phones taken away only to use a friend’s phone to log into their snap accounts and communicate on their friends device.
