Comments on the article here: FOX10 News

Seems like some of those comments are people trolling... There is a poster who says he saw the body but he is posting conflicting info about it to different people. He supposedly posted a photo of the body but his photo was removed before I looked at the comments. I think he is not serious and is just trying to get people upset. I'm not going to believe anything that poster is saying until I hear the info from LE. MOO.

“Apparently someone claiming he was hunting snakes came across a dead body in the woods,” Cadenhead said Monday. “Initially, the Silverhill Police Department was called to investigate and we were called to assist. We will be taking over the investigation.”

Cadenhead said the body appears to be that of a male that was “badly decomposed.”

The Baldwin County Coroner’s office was called to conduct an examination of the body and investigators are hoping to have the results from that examination by the end of the week, Cadenhead said.

“We found no evidence at the scene that would indicate foul play,” Cadenhead said, “but that determination will be made by the medical examiner.”

Because of the advanced decomposition of the body, Cadenhead said, it could take some time to determine an identification.
