Totally agree. I watched the video several times as well. I didn’t see anyone save for the person who gets out of the drivers side of the vehicle and walks around the car to the passenger side and then seems to disappear into treed area.

This is what I see also. No other person can be seen. She could not have seen anyone in the dark, alone a child, at that distance before she pulls over.
She just walks into the woods. IMO this is a MH or drug cause. I believe nothing was there and she became lost. No idea about the phone for I am not caught up.

Another poster mentioned a body of water and that is a good thought.

I keep hearing of screenshots. I spent 2 hours viewing in slow motion & capturing shots. I just dont see a gray car. I do see light refracting- a lot. What appears to be reverse lights IMOO are the lights /taillights of a passing car bouncing off other cars /signs etc- light bending. I watched the passing car to be sure. The responding officer's blue lights do the same thing. I may also have a saved version of a saved version of the video- makes it way more difficult to view.
If somebody screen grabbed this gray car please circle it in red and share with me. Or heck share it with LE.

Much of what I've seen so far look nearly identical to the artifacts that glitch into my wireless security system from time to time when the wifi signal is weak. It's kind of creepy, as it looks like my cat walks out of his body and just leaves a trail of former bodies behind him, lol. Then it glitches back and all those artifacts disappear and he's his regular single cat self again.

I think between the terrible clarity of the camera and all the reflections of vehicle lights off the highway signs, and the fact that it's dark, folks are seeing all sorts of things that probably are not as they appear.

Yes and I think we should not be entertaining the idea of seeing something that is most likely not there.
Goes down a road that distracts from facts that are present IMO.

Is it possible that the police would give out a false lead in hopes that it would produce a confession quickly or rule out a close suspect? Maybe that information is the grey car and tall thin guy wearing khaki shorts

So did she sight something (a child?), then circle around to search that same section of hwy a 2nd time because she’s driving along the shoulder with her 4-way flashers on for a fair distance, before stopping. It would be impossible for her to see that far ahead IMO. There’s considerable traffic slowing somewhat probably because of her emergency flashers but none that are also pulling over as if to indicate anyone else sighting anything unusual on the side of the road. JMO this footage doesn’t support the narrative.

ETA: If the footage doesn’t reveal this is her 2nd passby at the same location to search for the child on the side of the road then this has to be a hoax. Because it sure appears she’s driving on the shoulder with her emergency flashers in preparation of knowing exactly where she’s going to stop her car. No way could she spot anything on the side of the road so far ahead of her. JMO

If she spotted a child by the road she would be past it by the time she hardly realized it. She would have to double back by getting off and back on, then off and back on, and go by again to stop.
The key is exactly what you pointed out…scenario one I would think she actually thought she saw something and doubled back to check. Scenario two…if she just pulls over right off the bat, it’s a ruse. She intended to stop there and the phone calls were part of the deception.
LE should know which one it is by now.

For some reason this video is in the google review images for a nearby business, (completely unrelated to this case btw) but it helps give some perspective to the view coming into where she pulled over. Around 14s is near the area where we would have seen her car come into frame in the traffic cam video.

I can make out the blue food exit sign and the following green sign in the distance as the car is approaching from here. Seeing someone in the distance is difficult from here, but not impossible, especially at night if there was a visible light where there shouldn’t have been for example.The area of interest being between two signs could also naturally draw one’s eye that way.

I wish I had a better phone or whatever to view it. It’s much easier to tell what is an artifact when watching actual video vs screenshots from a video

I think the OP was referring to things we think we might be seeing on the traffic cam video, not referring to what the victim reported that she thought she saw.
