The whole thing just has a bizarre overtone to it. It being her last day in the job, I don't know if there would have been any repercussion if she'd not gone through with it and then he'd told staff he'd had a sexual relationship with her (pure speculation that was the case), or other favours?

Why was she visiting shops after the escape when she could have planned all of that before?

And then the car wash, I get that at some point you'd have to attempt to live a somewhat normalish life. But I don't understand what could possess them to use a car wash in the week after with it still painted across the media. I understand you need fuel, food and water if you don't have any but giving the car a clean? Bold.

okay. I have never bought a wig, but one of my friends did and it wasn't at a sex store, so I have limited knowledge on buying wigs. But, seriously, I have read some graphic trash in the Daily Mail and avoid it whenever possible. Once I read something that was so bad I won't repeat it. I know I wish it wasn't in my head and I don't want to inflict it on anyone else. Thank you for sharing this information.
My knowledge of wig buying is limited also lol. Mostly a vague memory of Samantha on Sex and The City and from movies.
Totally agree on the Daily Fail. When they cover criminal murder cases they are notorious for wrong information and embellishments, but usually have good photos though. Jmo

Can someone explain what a gunlock is in a vehicle? How it works, and how it might be significant in terms of VW's last moments and shooting herself, if that is what actually happened.

And wouldn't they have taken it with them to place in the next car, the Cadillac, or else they would have had to go somewhere to buy another one, I assume.

Full disclosure, I'm not up on this case. However, a gun lock is simply a padlock with a longer cable on it that would pass through the firearm so as to prevent it from being fired. There are other styles of gun locks too, but most all are not affixed/attached to the vehicle. It would be something you carry in your pocket, throw in a glove box, etc. As far as I know, every new firearm sold in America comes with one.

I only looked at a few sites that talked about marriage license requirements in Indiana. I didn’t look at Alabama or Tennessee but it seems they left those states quickly. While you can apply online in Indiana, on Mondays, you still have to appear in person to validate the application. At least that’s my understanding from the information in the link below. They require a lot of identification, more items than these two would likely have had for even fake names.

It seems unlikely to me that the pair could have married, partly because they were so recognizable. And if they used their actual names the person validating an application would have at least remembered them because the last names were the same. If by some stretch they actually managed to get married it would have probably been with fake names, so would it even be legal?

Did he actually call her his wife or did the person who reported it make that assumption when speaking in the interview? I think I’ll listen again.

Could they have somehow legally married before the escape? They would have been able to use their legal documents then, before they were on the run with fake IDs. But I don't think it could have been kept confidential if in Alabama, since I think marriages, divorces, child births, are posted in local newspapers or equivalent media communications, by law. Just thinking about this and it sure would be a twist in the plot. I doubt it is likely.

VW and CW planned this before VW ex died?

This was going to be a big deal to her. Maybe she wanted to look sexy for her man.

My guess is that the wig was related to a disguise when she would go out in public. Perhaps she didn't want to change her own hair color, or she saw the images that LE released and decided she needed a wig that gave her a completley different look from all the photos online by LE.

Does anyone else look at him, 6’9”, and think if they were his attorney they’d be asking whether Marfan’s is a dx and if so using it to augment his defense?
I thought of Marfan’s Syndrome as well because of the “Abraham Lincoln” look, who also was born with it.

Authorities who had been conducting surveillance on the Indiana hotel where Vicky White and Casey White were staying spotted Vicky exiting their room on Monday, wearing a wig.

I doubt that they got married, but if they did, the easiest place to do so would probably be Kentucky. All they would have to do there is show a driver's license (assuming they had fake ones) and pay $50.00. There is no residency requirement and no waiting period. Evansville, IN is very close to KY, just a short drive.

I think the truck had Tennessee plates, but did anyone notice the plate on the Cadillac?

So she would have paid cash for each and used an alias?

I have to think the truck and Cadillac must have been in the tens of thousands $$$. Did she just pull that out of her purse?

How far in advance were they bought?

And yet, they were staying in hotels in cities.

I cannot find the article right now and recognize that since I cannot provide a link my post might be deleted. I read an interview last night with the woman they bought the truck from. She wasn’t far from where the car was found in Tennessee. It sounded like a somewhat remote area but with a few vehicles for sale. I’m trying to find the reference again but today they are just focusing on the fact that they had a truck, not exactly where it was obtained.

I imagine if she were reading the media reports, websites like WS, facebook pages, twitter, etc...she would have been getting more and more angry. People were making fun of her getaway car, his shirtless photos, her bad hair color (totally guilty here on that), her walk, her choice in men, friends and former colleagues were being interviewed, everyone digging into her life, etc.... maybe that is what pushed her over the edge, her vision of what could be with CW was very different than their reality. Even I seriously considered the fantasy of them making the great escape and successfully getting out of the country or hiding out for a long time. JMO
