I keep trying to wrap my head around DW as a suspect. He is educated, stable job situation, good salary, ties to the community and involved in local charity and USA. He has alot of lose in my mind by being tied to this situation of the disappearance of DNV. Could he have been hooking up with DNV as many have speculated? Younger woman with older guy? Not too unusual. Was he an older guy whose marriage was on the rocks and liked to party with younger women or do recreational drugs? Possibly, we don't know. Could his lifestyle be relevant to the disappearance of DNV? Maybe.
But IMO DW is the only person that can answer the question of why DNV was at the Shell station the night she disappeared. Was she there to meet someone she knew or did someone follow her, immobilize her car, remove gps all with the intent to harm?
Nobody associated with this case has been cleared by MPD. To me personal history is important in looking at possible suspects. Could DW be involved? Sure, but does it seem likely given his history? Not really IMM. In contrast when you look at the cast of characters in the T/D clan we see domestic violence/burglary/repeated drug offenses/previously convicted felons/false imprisonment.
Any and all of these people are potential suspects in my mind and so far nobody has been cleared.
