I’ve wondered about that - and wondered if she was in the trunk after leaving Dublin’s (pure speculation on my part). A bit back, I asked if DNV had the ‘my car’ app on her phone, which from reading about it appears to be able to do a remote start on the vehicle regardless of location? (I don’t have remote start, so really don’t know.) What if Car 2 stalled at the Shell, and needed to be restarted and Car 1 needed to return to Dublin’s, find the phone, and do a remote start on the car? Which I believe would be evident to the MPD through phone analysis, so probably not the case. Just some out-of-the box crazy musings.
It appears that I was denied access to the group. Interesting.Well ... I managed to find the private page yesterday and decided to join. Still waiting on being accepted (almost 20+ hours later).... yet, real life calls, and I'm off to music rehearsals.
Maybe they just destroyed it with a hammer or screwdriver ? They were gonna get rid of the car anyway, somehow. I bet they possibly spent just as much time looking for her phone on her, or in the front seat of that car.By all accounts, Danniella and DW were not experiencing any car trouble. Danni flashed her headlights at DW when she realized she'd left her phone at The Dublin. DW decided where to pull over, and they had a 2 minute conversation about the phone. In less than 2 minutes they turned around to retrieve the phone.
DW pulled out and, although he saw Danni's headlights in the mirror and assumed that she was following him, she was intercepted before she could leave the Shell station. That was the end of Danni.
I still have a big question about why Car 3 disabled her GPS? How did they know about it? They weren't carjackers because carjackers don't complicate their lives with random abduction and/or murder. They were after Danni and by eliminating the car they open the question of whether she voluntarily disappeared.
What made them decide that the most important first step is to disable tracking, especially if she was a random victim? Do carjackers who abduct people intuitively know which cars have trackers? If they googled "how to disable a GPS" at the Shell station, police should ask FBI to identify which numbers triangulate to that location between 11:05 and 11:24 PM on July 17.
It sounds like a very exclusive tightly controlled private club.It appears that I was denied access to the group. Interesting.
Don't feel badly its quite a badge of honor to be excluded IMO!It appears that I was denied access to the group. Interesting.

I’m trying not to pout. I just wanted to be part of the ‘in’ crowd!!Don't feel badly its quite a badge of honor to be excluded IMO!
You are part of the 'in' crowd! Just sayin!I’m trying not to pout. I just wanted to be part of the ‘in’ crowd!!
What about a GPS jammer device? I don't really know how they work, but they promise deactivating any tracking device for a low price, and are available on eBay and Amazon.
Where did the photo of her car come from?So a random stranger decided that her car was worth stealing, so they pulled out their GPS jammer device and in the next 16 minutes disabled the GPS? I don't think her car is worth stealing.
A random Car 3 means they had no idea what type of car she was driving, and it means that she was a coincidental victim. Why didn't they leave her at the gas station and take the car?
Since they took her, and they knew that they had to disable the GPS, it seems that it was not random. If it was not random:
- who knew that she had a car (she picked it up that afternoon)
- who knew what type of car it was and that the GPS had to be disabled
- who needs 15 minutes to disable that type of GPS (pro or clown)
- who had reason to erase her
- who benefits most from her disappearance
Neither do I. I think it was someone she knew, trying to make it look like she just decided to go away. I was just trying to figure out how they managed to disable the gps.So a random stranger decided that her car was worth stealing, so they pulled out their GPS jammer device and in the next 16 minutes disabled the GPS? Yes, jammer devices are becoming increasingly popular options. The process to deactivate the GPS/OnStar on the Cruze doesn't look too difficult to do (see videos posted in previous thread or just check on you tube). I am not mechanical at all and did it on my car with no issue in about 10 min by following instructions I found online (do not recommend trying this as resetting it was another thing entirely and I had to go back to dealer for reset which they luckily did free). I am surprised that it took 15 min or so. But maybe the lighting was poor at the station and they had to deal with DNV.What about a GPS jammer device? Layla, You are welcome to hang out by the coffee pot and donuts with me ?This is the cool kid’s lunch table. We keep it real. YOLO!
Pearl Motors put a series of 3 pictures of the actual DNV vehicle on their website shortly after the disappearance. I have tried to see if the VIN number can be seen but have had no luck in seeing it on any of the 3 pictures posted.Where did the photo of her car come from?
