I don't mind. I did it because I totally agreed with you. I think I've read almost everything on this case from MSM at least a couple of times and I totally share your frustration. Media IMO is NOT doing its job of presenting facts that have been confirmed by LE. Its almost as if this case needs a MSM reported information excluded from consideration warning as they are simply rehashing statements from the Mobile 'family' with no separate due diligence that I can see.

Ok, so here is an area I know nothing about. What are our third party options to reach out to... Is there a person in the national media who we should tweet or reach out too? What do we do to get local media to know we care. I'm down for a twitter blitz begging for them to help?

Thank you for sharing your theory. It is just as important as anyone else's. DNV being alive would be a happy ending.

This is so selfish, but I NEED a happy ending, for once. I think that has a lot to do with my theory, it's what I want to have happened, is it likely, no it isn't. But it fits, but then again we can probably make anything fit in this story.

My issue with your theory is I think DNV could have done this anyway. If she called JDT and said "I need to find myself, I'm moving to Maine, would you take permanent legal custody of CT?" I think JDT would have been over the moon happy. I don't think DNV would leave and let her daughter think she was killed. That's more of a stretch to me than an abduction or carjacking.

I actually think it is just as likely she left on her own as it is she came to harm. The few things we cling to to "prove" she wouldn't:

1. cash in her apartment
Well this is hearsay and it could have been $50 or $500 she left to get the rent paid since TT was apparently getting out of jail soon and was crashing at her place
2. her daughter
Danni just gave up an infant child. Post-partum depression mixed with the pressure of her life goals and custody struggles could easily convince a 25 year old that she just isn't fit to be a mother and her daughter is better off without her
3. her friends / family
Any of her friends who have been pretty quiet through all this could know where she is and how to stay in touch with her. Was Danni even deeply close to anyone in Mobile? She had only been there a handful of years and was relying on work for most of her relationships.

Now let's consider reasons she would leave:
1. Her ex-bf, dv past and addict, was returning from jail soon
2. She had just gone through a birth and open adoption and may have been feeling depressed
3. She was in the midst of custody changes that may have felt impossible or overwhelming
4. Her car had been totalled by someone else (strain on that relationship)
5. She had recently ended a relationship and may have been starting a new one - meanwhile ex is living with her while dealing and using heroin and other drugs (when he's not incarcerated)
6. Overwork
9. Unknown personal dramas
10. Potential debts owed

This may all seem convincing to a degree but my main problem with this theory is that humans generally do not concoct a grand scheme to disappear themselves, and the way the night played out doesn't fit (you'd expect her belongings to be found at home, the phone would have been tossed etc)

Have there been any searches of the Midtown and parking areas around it for the car?

I have tweeted, tweeted, tweeted and have not received any responses. I can see folks are viewing but nothing. I let up for a few days but plan on starting up again. Maybe find some reporters to tweet directly rather than the stations. My question to all the long time sleuthers; Is it typical for news reporters to join private FB pages? I have not been on the FB page in a few days. Just too goofy for me and I do not see any real information gathering, just gossip, but it surprised me that local reporters would comment on the page. Mobile does not appear to be a small town (like Brooklyn, Iowa) where everyone went to school together and knew each other well so I would be surprised if there was a friendship to the family. Hope all this makes sense and all IMHOO!

I think the reporters are just there in case a story breaks. So far everything they reported has been from the family so I think they just consider it research. Many if not most on-air reporters are not from the area they work in, but rather move around looking for more air time and more prominent positions at new organizations. I am friends with quite a few journalists from my time in NY and many were first reporters in smaller news markets before getting jobs in NY. Many leave NYC for on-air positions in smaller markets if they are looking to become permanent anchors.

Can we get her info posted on the Texas Equusearch site?

I Admin several FB groups and it is common for both the media & LE to be in them.

I believe TXEQ has been contacted regarding DNVs case but, as with any effort to get her name/story out, the more people that contact them, the better.

Just trying to think of ways to get her information out to the public.
We had a local missing person posted on the neighborhood Next Door app.

The exact LE quote is "The GPS last pinged at the Shell Station." So the last place they can place her per GPS is the Shell Station. That lead all of us to conclude that the GPS was either disabled or malfunctioned at the Shell Station or shortly thereafter.

In the very beginning we all looked at maps to find bodies of water she may have driven into that would cause the GPS to stop as well. There didn't seem to be anything big enough to submerge a car that close.

Bringing this forward regarding police statement regarding GPS.

If friends know where she is, they can collect $5000 for telling the MPD about her disappearance - even if it was a voluntary disappearance. The fact that no one has stepped forward to collect the money eliminates the possibility that friends or family people know where she is.

Thanks for this, you are right that the reward is yet another indication LE don't think she left on her own either.

"The Mobile Police Department is currently offering a $5,000 reward for information about Danniella’s disappearance." (MDP blog)

If anyone knows anything about her disappearance, the money is there for the taking.

Young Mobile mother missing- "...MIL says her car last pinged at the Shell station around 11 p.m..."

Thread 1, #171 comment by @Vail - "the shipping containers she was referring to are where LE told her the car originally pinged, which as at the East end of Dauphin St (if you cross over Water st.) I think that is the most we can say about that as LE is now publicly stating the last ping is at the SHell, so that is what we have to believe is the truth. For the sake of speculation, if her car pinged at that dock the night she disappeared, it changes everything.."

Thread 1, #172 comment by @theides- "when I first shared the original missing post from JT on FB, it stated that he last ping was on Dauphin St. and it was a faint ping so possibly a parking garage. A few hours later I went back and looked at it again, and it had been changed to the ping being at the Shell...."

Obviously Dauphin was out there at some point, but I can't find anything now on it.

Above statements don't seem to come directly from LE or MSM. Because a third party says she/he got the information from LE, that still doesn't make it a fact.

I just spent 1/2 hr again searching for this GPS information from LE. Does anyone know how to set up a media page for this case as I think it could make searching alot easier? There was a quote made in thread 2 in a MSM article that Pearl Motors was able to ping the DNV car at the Shell Station. The original article is giving me a 404 error and basic google searches on issue of ping/pearl motors/danniella vian aren't turning up anything relevant to confirm LE making a statement about GPS ping. If anyone can find this article (believe it was NBC Mobile station) please post it. But at this point I don't think we can make any assumptions about the GPS as all the other comments I've been able to find regarding GPS have been Mobile 'family' related and not LE.

The other issue is that MSM reporting is taking Mobile 'family' statements as fact rather than using LE confirmation of Mobile 'family' statements and this is also causing alot of confusion.

I do think though that MPD has been quite clear that the last known location was 3500 block of Government road. I know this doesn't answer your question about GPS but absent any confirming statement from LE it seems we just might have to assume there is no GPS and go with LE statement about last known location. Its sad that this is where we are at 2 months post missing.

"The company where Vian purchased her car confirms the car’s gps pinged at the Dublin and then at the shell gas station on Government and I65 that night."

Which reporters/publications are you tweeting to? Perhaps some of us or many of us can help?

I would love to see LE do another press conference if only to reiterate everything they have reported to us thus far.

Thank you for posting this. Would you categorize this information as MSM confirmed? This case has put us in some uncharted waters as it relates to information IMO!

I will repost the Alabama media list that I think was originally posted in thread 1 as that might help.
