I'd really like to know what the relationship is between the perp and the childrens family. And if the kids were with Mr. Girdner because someone feared for their safety... and if so, how did the perp know to go after Mr. Girdner?

I'm guessing it's the usual mentality. (If rumors we're hearing are true about mom and perp dating but recently broken up)

Ok woman, you won't "talk" to me any more, I'll show YOU. (What better way to get back at your "woman", when it finally sinks in she's not into you any more).

People like that are the kind that take out their gun and shoot if they think someone looks at them sideways. For no good reason at all.

What was that perps motive?

In the Hudson case, Jennifer's sister broke up with her boyfriend. He was a jerk with a violent criminal history and he wanted revenge. So he went to the Hudson home and killed Jennifer's mother, her brother, and he took her 9 yr old nephew with him in the car. And they eventually found him dead, shot in the head. I think the trial is going on now.

I hope Mr. Girdner's black Mercedes and pickup truck have been accounted for.

IMO, the POI may have carjacked Mr. Girdner and the twins from Thomas Ave. area in Montgomery, considering he was staying across the street from twins and their mother. This could account for him arriving in the Lowndes county area without a vehicle of his own.

I may have missed it, but I do not recall information being released on how and where the twins were handed over to Mr. Girdner.

This does give the carjacking scenario more credence. I'm still a little confused on the guy's ultimate plan. If he just wanted the car, he could have driven anywhere. But he drove to within a few miles of Mac's house. This suggests that he wanted to steal items from the home.

This guy has a violent criminal history and gangs have been mentioned also. But despite being having multiple cases of various felonies in progress, he was out on bond.

Suppose the POI was ultimately trying to reach Mr. Girdner's residence to steal other stuff, but Mr. Girdner resisted and refused to take him there. If others in the Montgomery neighborhood noticed the frequency of Mr. Girdner's visits and his assorted vehicles, there's a good probability the no-good, , noticed also. (Sorry, sometimes it is just hard to refrain from name calling! Time to call it a night.)

I've been thinking about a reward here as well. It would have to be sizable, enough for the tipster to change his/her name and relocate far away. Witness protection? Deandra got acquittlals on two murder charges already.

If I ratted on him, I'd be in fear for my life whether I knew him personally or not.

I had a horrible nightmare last night. I have a feeling it was tied to this case. This morning, I read the neighbor's quote where she called the kids "just babies" and I thought about my own boy, who will turn 9 in a few weeks. I'm just numb right now. I can barely move my fingers to type. How can a human be overcome by such evil intent? I think I may need a break this weekend. I hope to come back on Monday to discover that they have this man in custody.

New member here, and let me say I am so excited to have found this website to discuss with like minded individuals the craziness in this world!

I wanted to comment lastnight, but it takes a few hours to get approved to write on the forums. But, I was looking at the case from 2008, and after he was found not guilty in 2011 (I believe) his dad made a statement that it was injustice.. and so forth.. what I found odd, but may not mean much is the dad's last name was Moore. The twins' mom's last name is Moore. I recently moved to Alabama from Indiana so I'm not sure about how small the city is or if, like in Indiana, every person with the same last name in a small town are related.

*Wondering how the mom's alleged relationship with the suspect will play into all of this. So sad.

This is just craziness!
Many prayers and much needed strength and peace to the family of all victims.

I was hoping this morning they would have zeroed in on him. I would hate to see one of his associates get a chunk of reward money, only to use it to continue the cycle of evil.

Considering his cold blooded nature anyone in his path is in danger. Anyone that would harbor or assist him is putting their own life at great risk. It may just boil down to who shoots the first bullet in the case and if he has gang affiliations they are more likely to do him in than to call LE.

I hope that his associates would draw the line when it comes to murdering innocent children.

I'm unable to wrap my mind around the thought that the mother had an intimate relationship with this guy.

What if the mother and maybe Mr. Jack also, had befriended him, and were trying to help him turn his life around, say through religion.

He lived directly across the street, so he could observe everything that went on at the house. He could have easily been playing them with his motive being money.

Or, as one of the local posters mentioned earlier, he was inappropriate to all women he came in contact with. The mother could have rejected his advances and he snapped.

He stikes me as more of the type of person where his motive would be money. He saw the perfect opportunity right out his window, right across the street from where he lived and made his move maybe on the spur of the moment in desperation for drug money. Or, maybe this was a plotted gang crime and the chose to commit the crime when the children were present.

Just throwing some possible scenerios out there.

Do not know if you guys have read the article this morning on WSFA.com yet or not but they are confirming that the bodies were "dumped" on the dirt road and they are saying the words "gunshot" now. I am now wondering if there was a crime scene at the home or if he killed them in the car and that is why the doors were taken off.

This crime was preventable. The Judge or Judges that were in charge of making decisions in his previous criminal activity failed to do what was necessary to protect the public.

I see this in my county all the time and it infuriates me. In this case the prosecutors did what they could do to try and put this man behind bars. LE did there job by bringing him in so justice could be served. How frustrating it must be to see these guys come through the court system over and over again to be released into the community. I think sometimes things are looked at as being gang on gang crimes and not treated with the same as other crimes.

If we see this happening we need to speak up. We need to put pressure on the judicial system. We need to continue to fight for the rights of victims. It's going to take the public pulling together in numbers to fight this fight.

It just seems to me this is something very personal against this Mother.
He murdered her children!
I think Mr. G was just there .... He was not the target the children were.
