Where is 1-year-old Kahleb Collins? What we know about the investigation in Fayette County
The question that remains, what happened to one-year-old Kahleb Collins?

I think the father posted about his son's health in November as a cover story. Grandpa knows Kahleb was last seen in early September. MOO Kahleb wasn't in the car when it went off the road. How sad. Did dad's post about his son's organs growing but not his body (Beckwith-Wiedemann syndrome?) have any validity to it? Was this actually a sick child whom the parents became overwhelmed with or just a made-up story in an attempt to excuse this poor child's sudden absence plus perhaps gain some sympathy from others to boot?
I find it really interesting that in the Grandfather's charges there is an exact date (in September) listed for his failure to report the missing child. Wish we knew more details about how that date came about.
little ryleighs autopsy results can definitely elucidate that...they can look for healing bruises, old healed/healing bone fractures, and lividity or rigidity that could indicate she was dead prior to the time of the crash. its an interesting theory and i would NOT be surprised if she had prior injuries.ALEA reported the father’s blood was taken to test for any drugs in his system during the time of the crash. The results are unknown, according to ALEA’s crash report.

I would be interested in seeing Ryleigh's autopsy report. reported in the article above and several others - Ryleigh had very minimal obvious external injuries and yet she died. We can presume that her injuries must have been far more serious internally. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
My question is, did her injuries seem consistent and aged to have occurred in the wreck? Is it possible her injuries were internal and NOT caused by the wreck? Is it possible she was dead when placed into the vehicle? While it is less likely that she died from injuries not related to the crash, I am troubled by the lack of any restraints and the fact that her baby brother was apparently disappeared months ago and still missing.
What was going on with this couple? Hoping Steven's tox results sheds some light on that.
Are autopsies regularly done on car crash victims to pinpoint the exact cause of death? Or only if there's no apparent external injuries?little ryleighs autopsy results can definitely elucidate that...they can look for healing bruises, old healed/healing bone fractures, and lividity or rigidity that could indicate she was dead prior to the time of the crash. its an interesting theory and i would NOT be surprised if she had prior injuries.
i briefly interned at my local medical examiners for a month and saw all the bodies coming in and get processed. in alberta at least, if an accident victim had catastrophic injury ie brain gone, they occasionally just did an external exam, took toxicology, fingerprints, and an xray. if there was doubt about COD or MOD (ie accident vs suicide), they would do a full autopsy. because of the weirdness with the case and question of murder suicide, it would be prudent for the MEOs to do a full autopsy, but ofc idk how the alabama system worksAre autopsies regularly done on car crash victims to pinpoint the exact cause of death? this article quotes Steven's brother. Per Steven's FB page he and his brother were estranged some time back. To me this answers one of my questions about how/why the Collins side of the family weren't even aware Kahleb was missing. I don't think Collins side were much involved in the couple's life. No clue what exactly caused that estrangement.
I suspect Aunt Katherine is correct about Steven Bradley, as to the second sentence, yes, so very sad and dejected. big sissy Ryleigh has a similar sad and defeated look about her.View attachment 554088
Katherine Chaplin is Kahleb's Great Aunt on his mother's side. Chaplin called Kahleb's deceased father "a sadistic, narcissist, evil person that preyed on a young woman."
[SBtycya for focus) Kahleb's little face just wrecks me in this photo, he looks so sad.
does Kahleb appear to be standing in the chair in the photo above to anyone else? I thought he was reported to have been not crawling or walking? I would think standing would happen somewhere between those two developmental markers?
