They found his remains IMO, in the January 22nd search of the yard. They had to wait for DNA test results to come back to confirm it was Kahleb's remains.

It was a long process of sifting through almost a barrel of ash, Yerby said. The sheriff said law enforcement found human remains the size of a quarter well before it was shared with the public.

“It’s a big deal,” Yerby said. “They were actually found several weeks ago, but we were waiting on confirmation.”

They needed confirmation that it was in fact human remains. Now, the FCSO is awaiting confirmation they are Collins’ remains.

“About six weeks ago, we sent the remains to the Alabama Department of Forensic Sciences,” Yerby said.

The mother and her father have been charged and await trial. It all began when the mother, her husband and her daughter were in a horrific automobile wreck. Father died. Daughter died. It was only then discovered that the couple's other child was missing, and had been for a while.

Turns out he was beaten to death. With father dead, only mother and her own father, who resided with them, are left to face trial for this awful murder.

Just going to say that maybe before those precious children's lives' were taken, one by murder and the other by car accident ... they (WB & JB) considered themselves competent enough to care for them, and otherwise live their lives without assistance -- with holding down jobs, etc.

EVIL is probably the closest thing to the truth! Mental disease or defect might be a close second & third but not in the way they mean.

How can they plead not guilty? We know for a fact that she was aware of the brutal torture he was inflicting on their precious baby - if the text messages taken from their (WB & SC) phones do in fact belong to them. It hurts my heart, reading & seeing what they did to beautiful Kahleb & his precious sister, Ryleigh, who appeared to be exposed to the abuse, if not actually physically abused herself, prior to the night she was murdered. They should be pleading guilty and throwing themselves on the mercy of the courts. IMOO
