Rest in peace, sweet baby.

I know that when the search was on, I remember there seemed to be a bunch of focus on some kind of barbeque or grill by the forensic team. Perhaps it's only now that some of the ash and detritus from the burning has been properly analysed. It's very difficult when remains are very destroyed, especially if they were mixed in with nonhuman bone material. What sickos these children were surrounded by.
Burned like garbage and refuse.
My god.
Sad when the searchers and the public cared more about them, than their own parents and grandpa.
At least he can be laid to rest properly now.
Rest in gentle peace, sweet little Kahleb and Ryleigh.
This world was too cruel for both of you.![]()
Yes Alabama does & is not afraid to dish it out!!!This whole story is just so tragic for those poor children. I can't even fathom the sadness and pain they both felt in their short lives, especially Kahleb who seemed to cop the worst of the abuse. His eyes could not hide the horrors he lived through. I'm thankful his remains were found and he can be laid to rest, with just a little of the dignity he was denied in life.
I hope the court system acts accordingly and never releases his tormentors. Does the state they live in have the death penalty?
Thank you. I'm wary of the death penalty because you have to be absolutely 100% certain the person is guilty, but in this case I'm all for it. It's just a shame the perpetrators (if guilty of course - MOO is that they are) get to live life in prison for so long before they actually get to be put to death.Yes Alabama does & is not afraid to dish it out!!!
I never believe that an abused person is 'better off dead'. Children (and adults) can be abused to unfathomable extremes and still have meaningful lives with joy in them. Some get saved from those circumstances, some grow up and endure and 'age out'. Just think of that young man who escaped decades of imprisonment last month. His ordeal lasted well into his adulthood, but it isn't going to be the entirety of his experience.it was better for him. I hate saying that so greatly but as he grew he would feel it and understand it more and it would probably be worse than it already was and this way he had peace and never had to feel it again
I agree 100%.I never believe that an abused person is 'better off dead'. Children (and adults) can be abused to unfathomable extremes and still have meaningful lives with joy in them. I will never be grateful that Kahleb is dead, just sad that he didn't get the opportunity that young man is getting now - that of self determination away from his abusers.

I see your point and I know where you and the rooster are coming from but knowing that he was being dropped to the floor by a rope until near death among other things, I personally am still grateful he doesn’t have to endure that any longer.I never believe that an abused person is 'better off dead'. Yea, the outcome I suspected but never wanted. Rest in Peace sweet Little Man!Wow!! They found him!
Wow, I'm so glad they found him but am very shocked it took them so long to search the burn pile. WTH?Poor baby was there the whole time :'(
It's entirely possible they searched the burn pile in the initial searches, but only now has a forensic anthropologist confirmed fragments of bone found were human.Wow, I'm so glad they found him but am very shocked it took them so long to search the burn pile. WTH?
I think you are correct. Alabama, this year, has had stormy weather with a lot of rain. The state forensic science dept has an anthropology division & I believe both Alabama & Auburn have forensic anthropology programs & certifications.REST IN PEACE , LITTLE ONES View attachment 584935
I'm pretty sure they found the remains that last day we watched them searching around a burn pit and there were a couple of photos in the news coverage of them appearing to examine a grill. Probably took that long for the DNA to come backHow did they miss him for this long?
And in light of the remains being found this post from back when the prosecution asked for a delay makes sense and is probably exactly what was behind it. waiting for that IDMaybe their waiting for forensics/DNA results from their 2 searches of the Collins/Bailey property?
